Amethyst's POV "Why does he keep looking at me like that?" I say to my friend Cassandra. "Who cares WHY?!? Do you see his abs when he takes his shirt off during football practice? Smile at him!" she whispers loudly while leaned into my face. I smell her scent. My senses are incredibly strong and I can feel myself suffocated by it. I lean back, "Relax." His stare is unnerving. I can feel it pierce my heart. Thump. Thump...... Thump Thump... My heart is POUNDING. Does he know something? He is Alpha of the Blue Moon Pack. He is beautiful but this.... this is..... this cannot happen..... Damon's POV "God she is BEAUTIFUL." my wolf Storm says to me. "She is, but she is human. Off limits." I say confidently back to him. Amethyst is by far the sexiest girl in this entire town. Hell, even the neighboring towns. I notice her everywhere. It doesn't help that we have every class together. ***RING*** "s**t, lunch is over." Kylo slaps my back knocking from my thoughts. Kylo is my future Beta. Everyone calls me Alpha but it isn't official for another year at least. "Hurry up, let's go so we can get a seat next to Amethyst." Storm commands. "NO STOR.." Storm cuts me off. "I KNOW I KNOW. OFF LIMITS. I don't care. We can still sit next to her." Kylo and Matt are are making a scene shoving each other playing rough. "You're a little girl!" Matt yells! "I'm Beta!" Kylo seethes between clenched teeth. He threw a light punch to Matt's arm. "You're both little girls! Keep your voice down! We don't need humans finding out about us! Goddess." I firmly tell them. "Yes Alpha." they say in unison. "And quit calling me Alpha. I am not Alpha... Yet." "Yes Al..Yes Damon." I see Amethyst and her best friend walking out. I know they both were watching me looking at her. I've never said anything to either one of them. I've spent the last three years of high school sneaking glimpses when I can. I follow Kylo and Matt out and head to class. I have to hurry and get a seat close to her. I walk into the classroom and I'm in luck. The seat behind her is empty and my wolf is doing flips. I walk past her and our eyes meet. I glance away and roll my eyes. I cannot have her picking up on my attraction to her. I sit. She has glossy black hair with a pink strip through it. She changes the color of that strand from time to time. Her green eyes penetrate my soul if they meet mine. I try to avoid that at all costs. Her tan skin and plump, luscious, scarlett lips..... "Fuck." I say to Storm biting my lip. "And you give me shit." Storm laughs at me. "f**k off." I growl. My c**k has stiffened and the bulg in my pants is so noticeable. "No." My frustration killed the hard on but I cannot help but to be a bit concerned. I have no control over who my wolf claims. The Moon Goddess gives each of us wolves a mate and we will imprint on them. We can choose to reject our mate and they can reject the claim but its very rare that you get a second chance mate and its VERY painful. Physically, Mentally, and Emotionally. It can even make the you feral for a short time. A wolf will be drawn to their mate. Storm and I can imprint at anytime now. Wolves imprint as early as 18 years old but it can also be delayed. Some don't imprint till years later. Alphas almost always imprint immediately upon the 18th birthday in preparation for taking over the pack. A pack must have a Luna... I must have a Luna. Amethyst's POV ***RING*** I jump up to head to class. Cassandra is going on and on about Damon and his muscles. I am only picking up on a few words here and there. "I'll see you after Chemistry?" Cassandra asks. "Yes." I answer. Cassandra skips off passing Damon's best friends Kylo and Matt. I quickly turn around to head to class myself. Once there, I pick a seat. My mind keeps wandering to Damon. Why? I mean, I have always noticed that he was good looking. In fact, him and his friends are as well. I guess its a werewolf thing. Better Genes? Still. doesn't explain why I am feeling drawn to him. Damon walks into class and turns down the aisle I am sitting on. I can hear his foot coming down louder and louder as he gets closer. I don't even realize I am gawking and holding my breath. Our eyes meet but only for a second. He rolls his eyes instantly. He must HATE me. He is always looking at me in disgust which isn't surprising. It is unnatural for a werewolf to be with someone like me. Class lulls by so slowly but it's finally over. I take my sweet time gathering my supplies letting the room clear out. I stand up and Damon practically walked into me! I am taken aback and then I realize he isn't moving. He is right in front of me looking down. I can feel his eyes searching mine. His icy blue eyes are like daggers and my breath is confiscated. He is so close to me I can see the perspire trickling down his forehead. I am frozen. Speechless. "What the f**k are you..." He starts to ask through his grit teeth. His eyes went from a beautiful blue to black. He blinks hard, turns and bolts out of the room. I catch a breath and I sit back down. What the f**k is right. What is happening to me?!
