The Myth's Existence
AN♡Chptr1♡ Back in time in the village of Langa .The king of Langa named Khona Ndaba was a good man who listened to every problem of the villagers even though he was said to be a maniac when facing his enemies at war.Later after the war he was said to be the king of blood. His hands were said to be red with blood when protecting his people. Later he got married to a beautiful kind hearted woman named Nolwethu Ngidi who wasn't from royalty & known for her ethereal beauty who bore him their only one son Buntu Ndaba who took after his late father at the age of eighteen and became the king since his father died early. Many people were afraid that he was too young to be responsible,as well as the prophecy said he was going to be a better king with kindness. Even though his fate seemed unusual, they beared with it since he was the only son his father had. On Buntus's twenty five year birthday the council persisted that he should get married soon since he's old enough to have a family, but Buntu wasn't ready yet to get married so he dragged on when they told him that. He said to be waiting for a wife that the gods will send for him so he choose not to accept any suitors even though his mother begged him to get married because she needs someone to keep her company he would brush her off just like usual. Queen Nolwethu gave up since she didn't want his only son to have an arranged marriage that the council wants for him, she believes that true love exists and the gods will one day answer her prayers of having a daughter in-law. On one faithful month King Buntu decided to roam around the village and look for something that will interest him since he was a king he wanted to know more about his villagers and things that bothers them he choose to disguise himself as a commoner. Therefore he decided to visit his grandparents on his mother's side for some time since he wanted space and to be treated like a normal commoner not to be around guards all the time like in the palace. Within his grandparents' place, he was treated like other grandchildren that were there in the family, which made him overjoyed. Even though some gave him his place as royalty, they loved him for his nobility with people. Many loved his company because he didn't act highly, while looking down on others, even those who didn't know him would be impressed when they first met him. He loved to visit the river before the sunset to enjoy the peaceful breeze of the river and the view of the sunset. Well on this day he didn't realise it was almost a week before the full moon so the air in the river becomes more chilly after the sunset, so he choose to head back so that he could pack his back since early in the morning he has along three day journey to take back to his village. Therefore, early morning before sunlight, Buntu took his guards back to the palace since he couldn't neglect his duties as a king. People gave him a warm welcome as they gave out what they had prepared for him. They rejoiced as they were preparing for the full moon festival where they thank the gods for everything they had in their village. On the full moon festival, Buntu received gifts from his villagers, but these weren't interesting anymore to him since he was used to getting gifts every day. He decided to visit the river that flows through his village since it was near the palace. He sat on his favorite spot as usual, and the water flows under his feet were knee length deep where he could see the the soil under the moonlight. The moon was so bright that you could pick a coin in the soil. Then, in a blink of an eye, something caught his attention shining under his feet. He picked it up, which was a beautiful craved bracelet with two fishes which were like glass and small shells. Buntu loved this bracelet even though he didn't know who dropped it he took it and waited for some time, so he decided to head back as it was already at night, and it was very late.
