The Burdened Piece of Junk
Jincheng, 10 p.m.
On the narrow single hospital bed, Ye Yuyao woke up from a dizzy spell. Before she could fully regain consciousness, a man’s scorching body suddenly loomed over her.
In the next moment, a strong hand seized her wrist and pressed it firmly against her forehead.
The dim light in the room made it hard to see his sharp facial features clearly, but his overwhelming, invasive aura made her shudder involuntarily.
In the midst of such an intimate atmosphere, Ye Yuyao snapped back to her senses. She opened her clear eyes wide in terror and screamed, “Who are you? Let go of me! Help—mm…”
Before she could finish, the man’s cold lips precisely sealed her red ones, his strength carrying a hint of force.
“If you don’t want to suffer, be obedient!” His icy, suppressed voice rang in her ears, carrying an implicit warning.
Ye Yuyao was terrified, and her struggles intensified.
One of her hands managed to break free, tearing off a string of beads on the man’s wrist, which scattered across the floor.
However, her strength was as ineffective as a drop in the ocean to him. Her slender body was quickly pinned down, pressed tightly against him with no space between them, her body completely beyond her control.
In the chaos, a wave of uncomfortable pain surged through her, her face turned pale, her entire body trembling, and two clear tears silently slipped from the corners of her eyes…
Ye Yuyao had no idea how she left the hospital.
By the time she regained her senses, she had somehow forced her weakened body to walk for quite a distance, eventually arriving outside the Ye family’s mansion.
Her face was ashen, her phone tightly gripped in her hand. She wore a white dress loosely draped over her, her exposed skin marked with clear, suggestive bruises.
Just over an hour ago, she had been entrusted by her boyfriend, Mu Zizao, who was on a business trip, to visit his sick grandmother at the hospital.
However, when she arrived at the hospital, she somehow ended up in a psychiatric ward where a man took her innocence.
Afterward, the man left without a trace of hesitation, as if he had just completed a task.
She didn’t even catch a glimpse of his face.
Thinking of this, Ye Yuyao's eyes stung with tears, but she suppressed the rising flood of grief, slowly walking into the Ye family mansion, desperate to wash away the lingering unfamiliar scent on her body.
The door was slightly ajar. She pushed it open and hurried inside, not even bothering to take off her shoes.
"Zizao, our plan will definitely work, don’t frown like that."
As she reached the door of the living room, a soft female voice came from inside.
Ye Yuyao froze for a moment and instinctively glanced into the living room.
She immediately recognized the two people in there — her boyfriend, Mu Zizao, and her younger sister, Ye Ruyun.
Before she could process what she was seeing, Ye Ruyun, standing nearby, tiptoed and planted a kiss on Mu Zizao's handsome face.
Ye Yuyao’s pupils shrank, and then she heard Ye Ruyun’s soft voice comforting him, “My sister has already been sent to Mr. Li. This cooperation between you two will definitely be successful. Once it’s done, Mu Uncle will look at you in a new light and will naturally let you take over the family business.”
“This won’t be known by anyone else, right?” The man’s voice was indifferent, devoid of any emotion.
Ye Ruyun smiled sweetly, “Don’t worry, besides you, only Mom and I know. She’s just a burden we picked up; does she really think she’s the Ye family’s true eldest daughter?”
Standing outside the living room, Ye Yuyao’s face drained of color, her expression one of disbelief.
Ye Ruyun affectionately linked arms with Mu Zizao and tilted her head to act coquettishly, “By the way, tomorrow is the anniversary of our one-year relationship. You promised to spend it with me, don’t break your word.”
Each of her words felt like an invisible blade, stabbing sharply into Ye Yuyao’s heart.
Ye Yuyao’s entire body ached with pain, and she could hardly keep herself standing.
Everything that had happened to her tonight — it was all a scheme, planned by her fiancé and her younger sister. They had already been secretly involved with each other for a long time!
The business trip was a lie!
The visit to his grandmother was a lie!
Her status as the Ye family’s daughter… also a lie!
Ye Yuyao’s eyes went blank, and her lips twisted into a bitter, desperate smile.
Ten months later, in a private hospital.
Ye Yuyao was utterly exhausted, pushed out of the operating room by a nurse, and transferred to a regular ward.
Next to her bed were three small cribs, each cradling a cute, sleeping bundle.
Perhaps sensing their mother’s hardship, they slept peacefully.
Soon, two figures quietly pushed open the ward door.
The man in the lead walked over to one of the cribs and glanced at the registration form hanging nearby.
Confirming it was a baby boy, he decisively picked up the sleeping little bundle and turned to leave.
His companion, seeing this, called out to him, “Assistant Ren, what about the other two children?”
Without turning around, the man’s voice was cold, “Mr. Feng only needs one heir.”
His companion paused, then followed, “Got it. I’ve already informed the doctor. She’ll be told that the first of the triplets had underdeveloped organs and unfortunately passed away. The woman shouldn’t suspect anything.”
“Mm.” The man nodded with satisfaction and then whispered, “Tell everyone to stop monitoring her. We don’t need to care about her life or death anymore.”
“Are you still going to keep this from Mr. Feng?” his companion asked.
The man paused, then nodded silently.
Although their plan had gone wrong from the start, this woman had conveniently ended up pregnant with triplets.
According to their original plan, as long as the woman gave birth to Mr. Feng’s children and was willing to surrender the rights to raise them to the Feng family, that would be enough.
