stupid

The next morning I check Jordan’s room seeing that it’s empty. I call and text him as I get ready for school but no reply nor do I get through. I await Theo car to pick me up as I nervously checked my phone every ten seconds. “Hey.” I wave at Theo and Hazel but this time Hazel was driving and Theo was in the passenger chewing gum. “Have you heard from Jordan?” I ask as I close the door of the car and Hazel takes off. “Nah.. why what’s up?” Theo glance back at me. “He went out last night and isn’t answering my calls.” I explain. “He could be with a girl.” Hazel shrugs. “Or with Xavier.” Theo nods smiling softly. “Have you texted Xavier?” “No. I want to ask in person that’s why I waited till I got in the car.” I whine laying back against the seat. “This is very stressful.” “Smoke for me. I can’t smoke for a while.” Theo sighs sadly. “ because of the bullet I can’t smoke for at least a month.” “Good.” Hazel smirks as we reach school parking. We all get out and lean on the car talking among each other. I was glad for them because they were helping me get my mind off of Jordan. “I’m pissed that I missed you almost dying.” Hazel whines as Theo gives her an amused look. “I bled all over Poor Jade bear.” He smirks at me as Hazel jaw drops. “Damn. I would’ve beaten you up.” Hazel flicks his neck as he swats her away. “Well thankfully she isn’t you.” He replies as the bell rings. He get to class and I check my phone texting Xavier hoping he would make it to class. “Hey puppy.” I turn smiling up at Xavier as he makes his way sitting next to me. “Hey X. How was your day yesterday?” I ask knowing we had a whole day where we weren’t in each other’s presence. “It was good, how was yours?” He kisses me softly sighing in the kiss. “You smell good.” “Thanks.” I roll my eyes blushing. “It was good. Have you heard from my brother? He hasn’t came home?” “Why? He went out last night?” He ask as I nod. “I didn’t send him on any runs.” “Oh.” I mumble looking down at my hands, where the f**k is he. I feel Xavier put his hand on my shoulder nodding. “I’ll see what I can do. He shouldn’t be far.” He says as I nod. The day goes by smoothly and my worried mind is cleared with having everyone around. This isn’t the first time that Jordan has not answered my calls or text, but this is a first for me with him not coming home. I mean yeah he was away for two years, but would he do this back at the school? I just feel so in the dark with everyone and it’s very upsetting. Around lunch thankfully I get there first with Theo glaring at him. “Where does Jordan go? I won’t go looking for him I promise but if I don’t get the answer I want I will.” I tell him as he sighs sitting up in his seat as I set my food down. “He’s working his way up to become a soldier, so there’s loyalty training in that, so he has to cut out the outside world for a while.” He explains glaring at me. “I can’t believe you threatened me with getting yourself killed just for that.” “No one was going to tell me.” I smile shrugging. “I hate all of you guys.” “What did us guys do?” One of their newer guys, Drake who I was fond of because he was a complete goofball and a better hang out then his other guys. “You are all losers and liars.” I shrug as Xavier gasp sitting next to me. “Damn, I haven’t even done anything.” He mumbles as Hazel sits down with us frowning. “Ugh, why are boys dogs.” She groans as I give Drake a pointed look and he raises his hands up in surrender. “Some guy was trying to get in on your action with your girl?” Theo ask as she nods with an averse expression. “Yes, it’s getting really annoying.” She sighs stabbing at her lunch. “Jade you wanna hang out today? I need girl time away from...” “Yes, please.” I laugh as Theo flicks his tooth pick at her. “You two losers are just mad we are fun.” He snorts. “Yeah okay.” She rolls her eyes at him. “We can go to the mall and window shop, like old times.” I smirk. “I can give you guys money.” Theo glares at her. “Not that type of- yeah please money would be nice.” She sighs as Drake laughs getting what we were actually going to do. “I’m so glad I don’t have a girlfriend.” • “Look at That guy.” Hazel smirks as there were a group of guys on the other side of the walk way being goofy. “Remember last year when Theo beat that guy up for slapping your ass.” I smirk as she shakes her head laughing. “Poor guy. I wonder what he does now.” I pay her lap as she shakes her head in disbelief as I laugh. “Let’s Go spend the cash that Theo gave us before I end up spending it on a stripper.” She Stands as I gasp laughing with her “Stupid.” We end up having a grand ole time Hazel and I as we shop around. It was quiet without the boys especially how intimidating they are chasing everyone at least 3feet away from us. “Ten o’clock.” I tell Hazel before slipping away before the guy reaches us. I know I’m a horrible friend for doing it to Hazel, but better her than me. • “Cunt!” Hazel jumps on my back making me laugh as we make it to the front of the mall where Theo was waiting for us smoking as usual, even though he isn’t suppose to. “Ladies.” He takes the bags out of our hands stuffing it in the trunk. “Sleep over?” “Yes.” I nod missing them even if it’s been a couple days. We all shower and settle in his bed watching tv and smoking blunts. Night like these were always the best. It was just us, not worrying about if we were going to get a good grade on the test the next day or me worrying if Josh Carmine was going to finally ask me out, which he never did thanks to Theo and his deadly threats. “Oh my god, Remember when we had that class pet and Theo got the little s**t high.” Hazel laughs as Theo joins her and I frown at them both. “He killed the damn thing. His lungs were so fucked.” I slap her leg which makes her laugh harder. “Stop it.” “You two are a f*****g mess.” Theo smirks. “It sucks that sooner or later I can’t do this with you guys anymore.” “That is true, because we will be thousands of Miles away and in the UK.” Hazel smiles as he frowns. “Y’all still doing that? f**k man.” He grumbles taking a drag as well as reaching for a cigarette. “I figured you two would get over that travel stage when we went to Japan last summer.” “That spiked it even more.” Hazel laughs at him. “Yes loser, and you will have to deal with it.” I tell him. “Plus isn’t your people from Italy? Just come visit.” Hazel shrugs as he smiles nodding. “That’s right, I’ll have eyes on both of y’all.” Theo smiles putting his mind at ease. “Ugh, I guess we won’t be sleeping with as much people as we can.” Hazel jokes but Theo glares at her. “You’re getting a babysitter for sure now.”
