CH 25 Ranked Match

Leif holds the door open for Aslaug, and they walk hand and hand to the training grounds. Some of the people heading to the training grounds recognized them deciding to join them on their journey. When they finally made it to the training grounds they arrived in a large group with only Astra and her followers standing with the Gamma. They all walk up and the Gamma nods at them in greeting. "We'll begin in a few minutes start warming up now once the sun is fully up we will begin the matches right away." Everyone nods at the Gamma, and they all move around the area to start stretching. They’re all in good spirits as a couple warriors loudly talk and joke with each other. "I hope you're ready to have me be the leader once I beat you in the match." Both men laugh at that statement, and other similar taunts are heard among the warriors.

Aslaug is on the ground stretching her legs when she hears a snort behind her. One of the girls in Astra's group is laughing and snorting. Astra is pointing and laughing trying to intimidate her and Aslaug chuckles, "It's like a bunch of kids trying to get the attention of their mother." Leif looks over at them and Astra waves at him. Skuggi takes over just enough to exert his aura, her eyes go wide in shock and her mouth drops open. Skuggi satisfied retreats as Leif and Aslaug start laughing loudly, "I guess she truly didn't know you got your wolf" Aslaug says and she falls back laughing. She sits back up wiping the tears from her eyes and exhales, "Maybe now this fight will actually be interesting."

"Alright warriors start lining up." Everyone quiets down while quickly moving to huddle around the Gamma. "First we will assign matches for Leif and Aslaug to determine their rank in the village. You will begin fighting at omega level and then go up one by one until you reach alpha level. The omegas have already been picked and are headed to the assigned areas, once all parties are ready I will announce the beginning of the fight. Leif and Aslaug nod and move to the assigned areas where two omegas wait nervously. The gamma moves forward once all four members give him a nod signaling that they’re ready, "The rules of the match are simple. No killing blows are allowed if I see that you are trying to kill your opponent you will not only be disqualified but you will be placed a rank below the current match you're in and will be stripped of any leadership roles. A win will be declared when one party taps out or is knocked unconscious. You must stay within the clearly lined circle and if you step out of it three times you will forfeit the fight and that will be as far as you go in the ranked matches." He looks at both sets of people as they all nod their understandign then he continues, "Perfect. Begin!"

Leif exerts his aura and the male across from him drops to the ground harshly as he shouts, "I surrender!" Leif pulls back his aura then walks over helping him up. "Sorry I know my aura is a lot, but I didn't want to hurt you if I didn't have to." The omega man nods thanking him for his kindness then walks out of the ring. Leif looks over to Aslaug and sees the male omega she was fighting being thrown backward towards him in the air yelling that he surrenders as well. Leif steps back to catch him and places him back on his feet. He nods to Leif in thanks as well and moves rapidly away from the ring.

The Gamma smiles and calls for the two next ranked members to walk forward and a Delta male and Delta female walk forward. They stop and face each dropping to the ground to throw a dice to determine which one would fight who and after a few more rolls of the dice the male went to Aslaug and the female to Leif. The delta male is smirking at Aslaug, and the female faces Leif with a brave face on, but she felt his aura earlier and knows he is much stronger than she is. The Gamma shouts to begin and the male charges at Aslaug and she steps to the side throwing a leg out tripping him and he falls out of the circle. The Gamma puts up one finger to him and he turns growling. She taunts him to come at her, and he charges blindly at her again when she drops to her knee just as he's almost to her and she pushes him over her and out of the ring again once he tried jumping over her. The Gamma puts up two fingers to him and the Delta male growls again his anger now clearly on his face no longer hiding his fury at her, "Stop playing f*****g games!" Aslaug feigns innocence and puts her hands up, "I haven't done anything. It's not my fault you can’t stay in the ring.” He watches her as they slowly circle each other. Aslaug smiles then charges at him and he smiles back. She gets to him in record time and though he was jumbled from how quickly she got to him he still tries pulling his arm back to punch her, but he moves too slow as she grabs his arm and swings him throwing him over her shoulder and to the ground. He groans as pain sweeps over him and Aslaug grabs his arm and leg and throws him out of the ring again. The gamma holds three fingers up and calls for the Delta male to leave the ring as he’s disqualified.

Aslaug nods to the Delta as he marches off fuming at the disrespect and she shrugs while sitting down to watch Leif's fight. Leif is standing still dodging every punch and catching every kick she directs at him. She is putting every ounce of energy she has into every move wearing herself out too fast. After five minutes of this she starts to wobble as she can barely stand and when she throws another lackluster punch Leif catches it swinging her around to choke her out until she passes out, she was utterly spent and though she tried to fight his hold on her she was no match for Leif. He listens to make sure there is still a heartbeat then he hands her off to The Gamma. Leif walks back to the ring and blows a kiss to Aslaug who laughs catching it.

The Gamma signals the next two Gammas to walk forward. Two gamma males walk up as one moves to Leif and the other to Aslaug. Aslaug is still on the ground when he walks into the ring while Leif is standing in the center waiting for his opponent to walk up to him. The Gamma signals for the fight to begin and the male with no hesitation charges at Leif but just before he gets to him Leif rears back punching him in the nose. He’s rewarded with a cracking sound and feels his nose break. The male freezes then falls backwards on to the ground with his nose gushing blood. The male is rendered unconscious and two omegas rush in to carry him out to the infirmary. This time Leif looks at Aslaug and watches her finish her fight.

Aslaug seems to be dancing through the ring while avoiding the male's attacks. She is humming and every kick or punch from him causes her to avoid it in a way that make it appear like she is dancing. The male growls at her to take the fight serious and she laughs while spinning into a front flip towards him and on her way down she throws her foot down over the top of his head and he falls to the ground so fast the ground cracks and there is now a little crater where his head landed. The male doesn't get back up, and she twirls away from him while winking at Leif. Two more Omegas run up and bring him to the infirmary. The Gamma smirks signaling the Betas and two females walk forward beside each other until they’re about halfway there then split up to head for the one they want to fight.
