Prologue
Happily Ever After. Those are the last three words you see when reading a Romance Novel right? Well, this Romance Novel isn't like any other. When you read a Romance Novel or watch a Romance movie you automatically think of one word and one word only. Love. Love is the one thing on earth that most humans feel but I am not one of them. If you envision what love is like, the first two things you think of are commitment and effort. You have to commit and promise to the person you love that you will vow to love them through the good and bad and in sickness and in health. You also have to give effort such as cherishing them for as long as you both shall live. Without those two things it wouldn't be love. Love in my eyes is an understatement, and Love is never perfect, no one said it would be. A common example of a great romance novel is when there is a bad boy who doesn't believe in love, but then there's a girl who comes along and changes his whole perspective on Love. They fall in love slowly and live a Happily Ever After. However, this romance Novel isn't like that. Every romance novel has some sort of twist which usually involves obstacles that every normal couple goes through, but this novel in particular has an obstacle that's way worse than usual. This story reminds me of how f****d up love can be. Love can turn you into the person you don't want to be. There are so many emotions that come with love and I tend to think of it as a poison. A poisonous drug that once you've tasted it you're addicted. Yes, Love is a beautiful thing but if you give into the wrong hands it can turn Deadly.
