It's the last period of the day and I haven't seen Noah since this morning. Jaden hung out with Cassidy and I at lunch and Cassidy is very fond of him. She say's he's super sweet and a gentleman and I agree 100%.
I'm currently sitting next to Cassidy and we're talking about what we're wearing for formal when he walks in.
He looks at Cassidy and I with a blank expression and sits across the room where he was the first time we met him.
"Do you think he's sorry"? Cassidy asked.
"Cassidy he can't be sorry. He said it so he must have meant it".
"Ava. He was in a heated argument, he maybe didn't mean to say it". She shrugs.
"Again if said it he meant it". I say and she just looked away.
"There's a party for Halloween did you want to go"?
"Who's hosting it"?
"Jacob, you know the one from chemistry".
"Oh, I don't know Cass, I have a bunch of work I need to catch up on".
"Ava. You always study. Please. Then after this you won't have to go to another party until Formal". Cassidy pleads.
"Fine I guess, but you better not leave me".
"I won't". She smiles, giving me a hug.
"Alright, now that everyone's here I'm going to assign you a dance partner and we'll start the next dance".
Everyone gets up including Cassidy and I while the teacher starts calling out names.
"Jeremy and Taylor, Mia and Josh, Cassidy and Isaac, Noah and Ava".
I raise my hand and ask my teacher for a new partner but she wouldn't let me change so I'm stuck with him. He walks up to me with his hands behind his back.
"Hey". he mumbles.
"Let's just get this over. For some reason I can't get rid of you". I say rudely and he looks away. I was telling the truth though, everywhere I turned he was always there. Noah was like an addictive drug that was poisonous and once you taste it you can't get enough and you're soon out of control once it's in your entire body.
The teacher starts running over the steps and Noah is standing next to me looking bored out of his mind.
"Alright, now you guys can start doing it. Let me know if you need any help". The teacher says and plays the music for everyone to practice too.
As we start dancing Noah trips me mid-way into the dance making me fall flat on my butt.
"Dude what the hell is your problem"! I shout and he helps me up.
"I didn't mean too". He mumbles.
"Yes you did. What is wrong with you seriously? Earlier today you called me a slut and now this"! I shout and the whole class is quiet as they wait to see Noah's reaction.
"It's none of your business". Noah mumbles angrily.
"It's none of my business?! So you can call me a slut and trip me but I can't know why? You are sick Noah".
Noah doesn't say anything. He grabs his stuff and leaves. I huff angrily and grab my backpack and try to follow him.
"Noah. Stop running away from your problems". I say as he continues to walk through the halls. He stops and turns around.
"I'm not running away from my problems. It's simply called not giving a f**k".
"You're running away from your problems and it's childish. You're going to turn out just like your father if you keep acting the way you are". I blurt out and Noah looks at me, his face full of hurt.
"You don't know anything about my father and you don't know me either so don't tell me that. I am not and never will be like my father". He spits out angrily and walks away, leaving me alone in the hallway, feeling hurt and regret.
