Gabriella had no doubt been surprised about Emily's call for truce yesterday but she was even more surprised at Barrett's attitude towards her. She had stayed hidden in the room all through yesterday for fear of his wrath, and funny enough nobody had come knocking or even disturbed her. After Emily had left her room yesterday, she sat back and gave what the girl had just said some deep thought and yes she still did not believe Emily really wanted peace, not after everything her and her mother had made her go through all this while. It wasn't long after the girl left that she fell asleep.
