The next day, they were on a local airline leaving the state, and Gabriella felt relieved. Late the previous day, they had received a call from Michael, he had contacted Ryan via the same phone they used to reach Mrs. Long, and Ryan had disposed the phone immediately they left the hotel. The phone was wireless but Ryan was being as careful as he could be. Michael had informed them that Barrett had found out that she had escaped. He had sacked the security at the gate and was holding the man that held the keys to the underground tunnel in the same torture room. Barrett did not suspect Michael, just like he had predicted, but he still knew he had to be careful.
