Second Chance Mate

Unknown person’s point of view:

I watched my blonde-haired beauty leave the hall. I decided to follow her. She disappeared into the woods. I continued to follow her keeping a safe distance. I didn’t want to alarm her. She had been through enough. Mr. wanna be alpha had been her mate and he rejected her for the raven black-haired girl that I recently learned was Roxanne. I couldn’t even begin to figure out why he would do that. She was amazing, soft, and sweet. The raven-haired girl was cold and mean.

I watched as she nestled by the lake and pulled out a book and started reading. I watched the play of emotions on her face as she read her book. Suddenly she looked up from her book being startled by something.

“Hello?” She called into the darkness. I also picked up on the scent of someone else.

“Hello? Is someone there?” Though I knew she was talking to the new presence that had made themselves known I didn’t want her to be afraid, so I stepped out of my hiding spot.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you.”

Stormy's POV

I watched a gorgeous man with black hair and blue eyes step out from behind a tree. Judging from his aura he was an Alpha. The air was filled with the most amazing smell of Cocoa and Coffee.

“Matinee!” Snow screamed in my head. I froze.

“What? No. It couldn’t be. I already had one and he rejected us, Snow,”

“Mate.” She said stubbornly.

The dark-haired man stepped closer slipping his arm around my waist.

“Mate.” He said in a husky tone.”

“No!” Brandon came rushing toward us.

“Over my dead body! She’s, my mate!”

“Really? It was my understanding Roxanne was your mate. You two have been all over each other all night.” Brandon growled. The stranger growled louder

“You will do well to learn respect” Alpha Jacob and Luna Rose appeared next to Brandon

“What seems to be the problem.”

“Luca is trying to take my mate!” I froze. Luca? As in Alpha King Luca? He was my mate!

“I’m not your mate” Brandon growled, and Luca pulled me behind him shielding me from Brandon.

“Perhaps we should move this conversation to my office.

Luca my now mate sat on one side of the Mahogany desk in the Alphas office. Alpha Jacob sat on the other side with Luna Rose at his side.

" It appears there has been some kind of a mix-up." Alpha Jacob said.

" I see no mix-up here. This lovely creature is my mate." Luca said while pulling me onto his lap.

" Brandon seems to think she is also his mate. She cannot be both of yours." The daggers Alpha Jacob shot at me made me squirm uncomfortably. Luca tightened his hand on my waist

" It's my understanding that Brandon Rejected my mate for that slut standing next to him."

"Is this true? Did you reject Stormy?"

"Yes, but"

"No buts. You have rejected the gift the moon goddess had chosen for you. as punishment you now get to watch her belong to another. My hands are tied on this son." Brandon Growled.

" I will not let her go!"

" Yes, you will. That's an order, Brandon. You brought this on yourself. As it stands you will also not become the Alpha next month as originally planned. I see you do not hold the maturity needed to take care of this pack." Brandon growled again.

" As for you Roxanne you can leave. Return to your home. Oh, and Roxanne." Roxanne turned and looked back at Alpha Jacob.

"Yes alpha?"

" Stay away from your future Alpha. he deserves better than the pack tramp." Roxanne gasped and ran out of the office crying.

" As for you Stormy. I know your time at the packhouse was not always easy. For that, We would like to offer our apologies. You can be sure that all those involved in causing your suffering here will be dealt with. I am ashamed to say I know one of them is my son. I always tried to be a just alpha. Strict but fair. It would appear I had failed you since you did not feel safe enough to come to me and your Luna. Your father was one of my best warriors and your mother was an amazing healer." I saw Luna Rose wipe a stray tear from her eye.

" Your mother was my best friend. you should have been treated better during your time here. Had we known we could have stopped it.

" You made my room in the basement," I said stiffly.

" Yes, Brandon led us to believe it's what you wanted so you could sing and not be disturbed. We didn't know at the time it was so he and his friends could torment you and not be held accountable for it. We are so sorry Stormy." I hugged Luna Rose.

" Go our child and find happiness with Luca."

I went to the Basement to gather my things. Now that I think back Luna Rose and Alpha Jacob had always been kind to me. I never did tell them what my future Alpha and his friends did to me. I never told anyone.

As I was packing my clothes the smell of fresh-cut grass and Pine swarmed around me. Before I could react, he had me against the wall. He sniffed at my jawline.

"Mmmmm, my little mate. Think you can get away that easily." He pinned my hands over my head. I wiggled trying to get free. He slipped his hand under my dress and tugged at the lace bra. he slipped his finger underneath it rubbing my n****e.

" Please, Brandon let me go." I tried again to get free to no avail. Brandon lifted me against the wall. Ripping my dress and bra off my body. I was laying exposed to him. He took in my huge t**s. I screamed for help.

" No one is going to hear you down here my sexy mate." He threw me to the floor before climbing on top of me and slipping a n****e in his mouth. I sucked in a breath. I continued to fight him. Before I could register what was happening Brandon was ripped from me and a very pissed off Luca had him by the throat.

" You dare touch my mate!" Luca roared. His eyes shifted gold then back to blue. I could tell he was fighting his wolf for control. Just then Alpha Jacob and Luna Rose came in.

" Brandon, you have Dishonored and disgraced your family. You are hereby banished from this pack." Luna Rose cried but did not say anything to protect her son. After handing Brandon over to Alpha Jacob, Luca picked me up from the floor, found me another outfit, and had me packed and in his car heading toward the edge of our territory.

"This will be a new start for you." He promised.
