I sat in the front with Luca and my parents. Brandon's parents also sat up front sitting on the opposite side of me. Luna Rose was crying. Alpha Jacob looked furious. Though I wasn't sure if he was mad at me for putting his son in this position or if he was mad at his son for disobeying a direct order.
The council began to file in.
"First order of business. Bring in, Brandon Roman." The guards dragged in a fighting Brandon. They placed him on a stool dead center of the room. A cage came down from the ceiling trapping him there.
"Brandon Roman. Charges of neglect and abuse of a pack member are being brought against you. How do you plea?"
"I'm not guilty. That slut there is guilty of stepping into our lives in the first place!" Luca growled. I placed my hand on his shoulder.
