Blast From the Pasts

I woke the next morning to a knock at the door. In walked a petite brunette. I don't know why, but a strange sense of Deja vu swept over me.

" Morning miss. I'm Stella. I'll be serving you this morning." She looked at me then stopped short. Wait a minute. Stella..... I knew a sweet girl named Stella from the old pack. She was punished for being my friend and later sent away after she was found sneaking me food.

" Stella? Stella Malone?"

" Yes ma'am?" She looked at me shocked.

"It's me, Stormy."

"Stormy Love? The same Stormy from Silver Lake pack. That Stormy?"

" The one and only." She squealed in delight and rushed toward me wrapping me in a big bear hug.

" I can't believe you're here. And you’re our Luna." She said excitedly.

" I thought they killed you after they found you giving me food."

" No Brandon lied and told Alpha Jacob and Luna Rose that I wanted to live in another pack, so they sent me here. He always lied when it came to you. Like when they asked why you never ate, he would tell them he saw you eating earlier in the day and that you just weren’t hungry. They never suspected that their son was lying and torturing and starving you right under their nose. Well hurry up now we will be late. We have a full schedule ahead of us." A full schedule indeed. We ate breakfast at the Diner in town. Then we went to the fitters. I was fitted for several dresses. One is a floor-length off-shoulder dress with a jeweled bodice with silver strappy high-heeled shoes. I looked like a little porcelain doll. I had never felt so beautiful before. The dress was meant for me to wear at the mating ceremony that was to be held the night after next. I was nervous.

We made it back to the castle. As we stepped inside, I could feel something was off. I followed my mate’s scent to the big oak door at the end of the hall on the 5th floor. His scent; however, was mingled with that of another she-wolf. Snow growled. I pushed open the big oak door and rushed inside. There I saw Charlotte straddling Luca. Luca jerked away from the kiss and they both turned in my direction.

" Stormy.," Luca said frantically.

"This isn't what it looks like," Charlotte smirked.

"This is exactly what it looks like" She pressed her chest against him rubbing her lower half along his lap.

"If it wasn't then why is he hard in response?"

"Cut it out. Now Charlotte." Luca said using his alpha toned. She shied away from him but stayed put."

" You want this tramp as your Luna then so be it."

" I will not serve a false Queen." I turned to see Stella standing in the doorway along with Abigale and Jordan.

" Nor will we." They said in unison.

" But a quick question for Stormy. Before you found them in this compromising position did you feel any kind of pain? Like maybe you'd been a punch in the stomach?"

" No, but why does that matter?"

" Because had Alpha Luca cheated on you willingly with this thing you would have felt it. This means Alpha Luca is telling the truth. It's not what it looks like. She more than likely caught him off guard." I turned slowly toward the couple.

" Didn't I tell you to learn your place?" I said deathly calm to the woman on Luca’s lap.

" You will now see what happens when you cross me." My eyes turned solid white. The air in the room began to move. Papers were thrown about. I lunged at the woman pinning her to the ground. I straddled her waist.

"Charlotte, you have disrespected me for the last time." Lighting began to strike the floor all around us. Barley missing Luca in the process. As fast as the snow came, she went. I came back to the surface. I got dangerously close to her.

" That is a warning. I won't give another one. Stay away from Luca" Charlotte rushed out of the room crying. I turned to Luca who sat in utter shock.

" You’re a storm wolf? you can control the weather?" I looked between all three of the people left in the room.

"Oh no, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt anyone." Luca chuckled.

" You didn't, but you sure scared the hell out of Charlotte." Everyone laughed and I eventually joined in.

"Now let's go get some lunch,” said Abigale.

We ate lunch on the rooftop garden overlooking the beautiful territory below. The server made us steak, baked potatoes, garden salad and, Texas toast. She made fresh strawberry lemonade and coconut cream pie for dessert. My favorite dessert ever. Everything was so wonderful. This day had been amazing. I looked out over the land thinking of how lucky I was to be here with such great friends and have the most amazing mate she-wolf could ever ask for. The sky was begging to darken indicating a storm was on the way. We all headed in to watch a movie called "Save the Last Dance." It had been one of my mom's favorite movies. I curled up next to Luca as the movie started. I drifted off to sleep as the movie played on.

Dream:

"Hello, dear one." I heard the voice, but I couldn't see her.

"I came to give you a warning. The danger is coming your and Luca's way. You must be ready. Time is not on your side. An enemy who wishes to destroy you lurks closer than you think. Not all is as it seems." The voice began to fade.

"Wait! Who are you?"

"We will meet soon child. You are very special. Please heed my warning. You must be ready dear one."

I woke from the Dream and lay in bed thinking back on the dream. It was so real I wasn't sure I had really dreamed it. I got up and decided to take a shower to ease my troubled mind. Luca rolled over as I got out of bed. I smiled at him and assured him I was fine that I just couldn't sleep and was gonna shower to try and quiet my mind.

"You want me to come with you?" he asked worriedly.

"No, I'm fine." I bent down and kissed him before heading into the shower. Once I came back out Luca was sound asleep. I felt much better and climbed back in bed snuggled up to Luca's back and drifted back off to sleep.
