Chapter 36 Kim tried to open her eyes and winced, groaning low in her throat. She had an idea she should keep quiet, but she couldn’t remember why. Her head twisted and beat and throbbed badly enough that she had no idea where she was, much less how she’d gotten there. Something cool and kind of clammy under her cheek finally got her moving.
