“Chloe left my house without telling me?” “And she also took along my invitation card?” I was disappointed in Chloe and wouldn't think she would stoop so low to the extent of stealing an invitation card.
I clenched my fist with anger.
Just when I was thinking of what I would do to Chloe, my phone started ringing and it called my attention.
It's a strange number and I just decided to pick it up.
“Hello, who is this?” I asked out rightly with a frown on my face.
“It's Chloe. I am sorry I had to run off without informing you. Mr Darwin needed my presence urgently.” She said to me.
“Is that the reason you took the invitation card along? Why wouldn't you inform me?” I spoke with a terrific voice. Ready to pounce on her and end our friendship.
