Genesis - Sealed

In the year 2076, a strange disease emerged which turns people into these ghoul-like beings called Revenants. Even with humans and their advances in medicine and technology, these spiritual beings seem to be driving humanity into a corner. To track and contain these incidences, humanity has moved into large cities called Colonies. Each Colony is cut off from the rest of the world. As life is easy and peaceful within the walls of the Colonies, Revenant run rampant outside the walls. Dr. Roso is the leading scientist in bioengineering. After years of trying to find a cure, Dr. Roso was left with no option but to fight against the Revenant. He created these creatures known as the Genesis to combat the Revenant.

Leo Wiseman, an orphan who lost his family in a fire when he was young, intended to live a simple life until Dr. Roso found him. Leo joins the special task force, per Dr. Roso's persuasion, in fighting and capturing the Revenant known as the Linkers. To use a Genesis, a Linker connects their life force with a Genesis. With restrictions placed within the Genesis, their power can be controlled. Releasing these restrictions grants the Linker's Genesis more power but risks their life force drained by the Genesis. When that happens, a Genesis becomes self aware and becomes a Nemesis.

He meets Iliya Kema, a cute and bubbly girl who has been serving as a Linker for a year now. Iliya is partnered with Leo and becomes his mentor. Leo also meets Amy Cross, a Linker prodigy with a chip on her shoulder. Amy has witnessed the horrors first-hand what happens to a Genesis when they take the life force out of their Linker and become a Nemesis. Through his training and fights against the Revenant, Leo discovers the secrets Dr. Roso hides about the Genesis and his family.
