After I smelled her sweet sweet scent I followed. knowing that whoever this she-wolf is, is my mate. My pack and I were being to worry because I had not found her yet. She's been so close this whole time that my heart aches. I find her about to leave a small clearing, heading straight for the heart of the fire. I want to stop her so bad. You can make her Ben states furiously.

Shes such a beautiful wolf, huge dark red fur with large pointy ears and white paws that looks so soft. Before I can do anything she notices I'm here. she comes over to me and instantly rubs she soft fur against my wolfs large leg. I'm internally grinning, glad she isn't terrified by my wolf's dark demeanor. Without thinking, lift my head to the full moon and bellow out a howl so loud it practically shakes the ground, so happy to have found her. Knowing my men would want answers, I reluctantly back away from her and gather my men not far away.

"Alpha?" many of them are confused.

"My mate belongs to this pack. spread the word to the rest of the legions. we are done here." I stamp the ground as I get more than a few confused looks. Angry at my men's stupidity I growl dominately, making many cower. Ben shakes ash off of us and takes off, following her scent.

Her hands are so soft, even though I can tell she's a warrior. and her human frame is so petite compared to her uniquely large wolf. It's so strange. I like to say I've got my emotions under an iron fist, but one wide eyed look from her makes me want to melt and do anything she wants to make the fear and worry disappear from her dewy face.

Walking back home I can hear the rest of the pack going frantic. They're all talking about how she didn't loose once to his men, suffering only a single injury on her thigh. I look down at her to see if I can figure her out. She isn't even limping. I think in wonder. "She's remarkable." Ben states, ecstatically.

When we get to the middle of the pack I stop, taking in all the surrounding people waiting for news. I squeeze Maybelle's hand lightly,as she is shaking anxiously.

"My beloved people!" I boom "I have great news." I pause for effect, looking down at the small creature beside me.

I raise my hand holding hers as chatter builds around us cautiously.

" I have found my mate! And she is to be your Luna! If she isn't treated with the upmost respect, the affenders will be deeply punished" I shout hoping the message gets aroused while hoping it'll ease Maybelle's nerves a little that she is welcome here.

The crowd that had build up around us cheers and somewhere music starts. knowing my people, this is the start of a grand party that won't stop for a few days at least.

Chuckling, I make my way to the packhouse headed for my office where we can talk privately.
