Something Familiar

Alizay’s POV

“sigh…!”

I couldn’t sleep at all last night, I kept thinking about the latter from my brother.

“DUST IS ON THE MOVE BE CAREFUL SIS!”

Be careful? Me? You should be more careful you i***t! They must be after you! I don’t even know where you are right now!! My hand turned into a fist, “DUST!” just thinking about them makes my blood boil.

“M…MA..MAM?”

“Hah?”

I looked up and saw my secretary shivering with scared face and trembling hands. What? Oh no I realized that I have unconsciously gripped the paper so hard that it crumbled and that too with a hateful expression.

“I…am s…so..sorry, I..I’ll ..C…clean the t..table…”

She said while stuttering. Sigh… what have I done!  I relaxed my self and sighed deeply, after that I looked at her with a smile and said brightly.

“Oh Ari! How is my acting? I was practicing”

“P…Practicing?”

She seemed to relax a bit.

“yeah, I thought I should check if I can act or not, hahah”

I laughed and she seemed to relax a bit more with a confused expression she again asked me

“So Mam.. you were just practicing to act?”

I kept on smiling and said

“Yes”

“Oh, I see! You act really well mam!! You should audition for a role !! you are also really pretty! I don’t even have 0.1% doubt that you will not get selected!!! Mam Fighting!!!”

“Ah ..aha..haha”

She suddenly hyped up smiling brightly with shining eyes and excited expressions. What could I say to her except laughing it off.

“Well Ari, did you have have something to tell me?”

“Oh Yes Mam!!i came here to notify you that robin will be here in 15 minutes, you will be the one to welcome him at the door Mam”

“hah ? Why?”

“well …Mam…that is…the president said that he will be the one greeting him welcome, when he arrives…and Since he will arrive late you will be taking over for him today…that’s what he said”

“Ah! It seems that he is a really big fan of his”

“Mam! Not only he!!! Our whole company staff!”

“Really?”

“yes  Mam everyone in the company is excited to see him!! Everyone has dressed more preetily for him, Even the mans as well…Ah! And Grandpa kan as well”

“ Even Gramps???”

“yes mam”

I slapped my own face in my head! Seriously? I knew he was really famous but at least I hoped for my company staff to act a bit mature! This is too much, they might not let him take even a break during the shooting of ad. I can’t let my staff act foolishly in front of the company representatives. Never mind the idol, the real boss here is the k & M Company! And I recently got a repot as well about K & M entertainment signing a 10 year contract with Reins Group.

Reins Group have always been a hindrance to my company since they are 4th best on the world chart! They pull really pitiful tricks on the companies that are ranked behind them, and the mess few days ago were also created by them. Thanks to our hardworking employees the losses we faced were 14% , but still if we were not able to solve these petty tricks they pulled on us then our company might have gone bankrupt! I have to be careful here! Ah and then there is DUST! 

And here I thought I would be able to enjoy a big long vacation!

“….am… Mam?”

Ah I forgot she was still here!

“yes Ari?”

“Mam you didn’t replied me, will you go to greet them yourself?”

“please tell Project manager to welcome them at the door. I’ll come in 30 minutes, Let project manager know that the shoot should start on the scheduled time”

“ok Mam. Mam, if you didn’t looked like this today then I might have persuaded you to welcome them yourself since they are important clients.”

“haha is that so? Then tell me, how am I looking today?”

“Cause Mam… you are really good at hiding your expressions, but there might be some real problems which have made you to look such…. But… you look LOST.”

“What…What are you…”

“Something is really troubling you, which has made you to worry. In My three years of Working here as your secretary, I thought I would never see your other expressions aside from smile and laugh…. Although I got scared earlier but I saw you in anger and worry today….it makes me feel like I am really your secretary now. Mam you don’t have to fake your smile in front of me, cause if you do so, then it makes me feel like I am not competent enough to be your secretary. I beg your pardon if I was out of line”

“…………..”

“Then I’ll excuse myself”

Step…step…step….Khrt…Khtk *door  closed

What just happened? Was that really Ari? But…. I can’t believe I showed such expressions in front of my employee! I was always taught to control my expressions since birth, cause they might become a hindrance in my way. I was taught that it was a weakness! She asked me to be myself in front of her… thank you Ari. But, I was taught to never show my true self in front of anyone, if I do so…then I’ll consider myself as an unruly person who doesn’t deserve to have greater responsibilities. You are really a cute person, that’s why I have let my guard down in front of you. You really do surprise me sometimes.

It seems that I’ll have to meet my brother soon.

Robin’s POV

 “Yawnn~..”

“hyung it seems like you slept well last night”

“LEO! you know, you sometimes ask really stupid things.”

“……..”

“Would I be yawning If I had slept well last night?”

 Last night, I couldn’t sleep well again. As I thought, there were really some type of relaxing atmosphere around her…. Just having a little chat with her and I could sleep soundly. It doesn’t make sense but after thinking it thoroughly, that was the only thing that happened to me before going to sleep that day. Not only her, the lake as well and the bridge! The whole area there had a warm feeling. It Felt like a warm welcome hug there…., Lakes are usually cold at night, but that one is warm! There is something missing here.

“But you said you slept well the day before yesterday…”

“yeah….I did…but I still have insomnia.”

“I see”

 I can’t understand leo at all. Sometime he looks sad and the other time he looks like he has no emotions, just a straight face and especially in front of others! When we are alone he shows every emotion, when he doesn’t like something then he says it outloud in front of me making a face.  when he likes something his eyes lit up with a bright smile. And sometimes……he even looks at me….with… sad eyes. I don’t like it but I don’t point it out. I guess he is relaxed in front of me. I am relieved.

Manager kim: “Robin we have arrived. there are some pepparazzies following our car ever since we left our company so make sure to not look dippressed”

“YOU don’t need to TELL me that!”

It seems that we have arrived at the company. I am shooting an Ad again, but I will make sure that this will be the last ad that I shoot. If they don’t give me a break, then I will plant a ticking bomb on social media. Hahaha, they won’t be able to deny me at all since they wouldn’t want a scandal. Nagging machine and that old fart (president)’s face will be a magnificent event to witness. Hahaha…hahah…ha ha hah….What??? just as I was laughing evily in my head I saw that lake!! Wait, this is that place !!!! why are we here!! Hah? The car stopped in front of a big building, and the security gurads in black suit were at the front door in a que…it seems like they were waiting for me but why are there fans? I didn’t know the word will spread so fast.

“ROBIN ROBIN! ROBIN! WE LOVE U! ROBIN! ROBIN! ROBIN! WE LOVE U”

*Fans were saying in chorus.

Looking at the crowd, I smiled. My fans, they are cheering for me. Even though I don’t like it when my privacy is disturbed or when they treat me like I am their possession. But I feel happy when they express their love for me, cause I love them as  well. I am who I am today, only beacause of them. They send me a lot of gifts and letters, for which I am really grateful. But there are also those gifts that are disgusting and should not be mentioned. Also not to forget about those over obsessed fans letters for me written with their blood! just thinking about it made my body shiver. And there are also those who threaten to kill me and  the prople I care for and love. And maybe my insomnia is related to this as well, cause nightmares hunt me.

That’s why I wanna know why I felt so at peace at this lake and why talking to that woman made me relax, and why did I slept well without nightmares! I have to meet that woman again, she might be able to answer me. while in my own thougths, the manager interrupted me.

“Wear your mask and cap”

“I won’t.”

“What???? Robin please, there are a lot of fans and paparazzies here. You don’t have any makeup on!”

“you mean I am not handsome?”

“What? Ah …No even without makeup, you are really handsome. But the point here is that..”

 “Manager Kim, I think it should not be an issue for Robin to go out without a mask. He is Famous because of his talents and a face that no one has. I don’t see it necessary for him to rely on artificial products. Am I right, Manager kim?”

The Manager was cut off by leo, who said it with a smirk. Woah!! Our teddy is speaking up for me, but he looks really different today for some reason. I looked at manager kim, he was at the driving seat and when I looked at him, he was ..SHIVERING?? what? What just happened!!! I got really schocked and turned my head really fast to leo,  but he looked just fine. So What actually happened?

“should we go hyung?”

“Hah? Ah! Yes … lets go”

Nagging machine and he both got out of the car, its our company’s BMW. I usually don’t travel in this car but the manager brought it today so I don’t know the reason though nagging machine looked calm now. He came to my door and opened it.

As I stepped out of the car, the fans crowd screamed really hard. But something felt familiar, a warm welcome hug!! This warm feeling!!! Its here as well!! I turned to leo and asked him,

“is it cold or warm”

“what?”

“the weather, wind  this area! Does it feel warm?”

“ what are you talking about hyung? Its freaking cold and in case you forgot, its December and….”

I Froze their, my fans cheering and leo’s words, I couldn’t hear them anymore. It felt like the world stopped and what I could I feel at this moment was only warmness! Something Warm! A warm Hug, MOM! When my mom hugged me and petted me on head!!! Its exactly that feeling! Its exactly like I am on my mother’s lap.

This warm feeling.

This!!! I need to know… I need to know more about this!!
