Angelique's point of view
"Why didn't you tell us?!"
"I'm sorry, I can't drag you guys into this because I have my own reasons" Phoenix stated after she aided Lucia. "But now, here you are. Trap into this situation"
I slammed my hands at the table out of anger. Making Phoenix sharpen her gaze at me.
"Phoenix we are friends! How can you be so selfish!" I exclaimed. "We have to leave, let's go back to the world where we should really be!"
Phoenix sighed and avoided looking at me. She took a few steps back, making me frown. "I'm sorry Angelique, I can't do that"
"WHAT?!"
"I told you I have my reasons" Phoenix took her sword and held tightly on it. "I have something to do here, and I can't let you get on my way"
I punched the wall making her look at me with guilt and bitterness.
"You're such a fcking selfish! Can't you see Lucia's condition?!" I shouted. "All we just wanted is to escape this place together, why can't you just understand?!"
"You won't understand me" Phoenix's voice cracked as a tear fell down on her cheeks.
I also can't hide the fact that I'm forcing myself not to cry at the moment. We almost died earlier, and for some reason, I am so guilty that I brought Lucia into this kind of place.
"I understand"
This time it was Lucia, we didn't realize that she was listening to the conversation since earlier, I know she wants to comfort the two of us right now but just like us, she couldn't do anything.
"I'm sorry" Phoenix sobbed and hugged her.
Lucia caresses her back to make her feel okay and I just turned away from them to wipe away my tears.
This is fcking dramatic.
"No matter what your reason is, we will face them together" Lucia stated. "We will leave this place together"
Avarice' point of view
"Who took care of the demon?" I asked my assistant as soon as I entered the headquarters.
"I heard it was the Colonel, maam" she answered.
The Colonel?
"I see" I flipped my hair as I opened the door through Cloud's office. He's busy working with some papers so I immediately grabbed his attention by knocking on his desk.
"HAHA Corporal?" he said, scratching his chin.
I once again flipped my hair and puts my hand on my hip.
"Why didn't you send troops to the city? It was invaded a few minutes ago"
"Eh? But I sent the troop 5!"
Send the troop 5? This guy is an i***t.
"No Corps have been there Officer Cloud, it was the Colonel who took care of it, so what the hell are you talking about?!" I exclaimed, slamming his desk.
"C-corporal relax" he stuttered while scratching his chin. "I told you I sent the troop 5, hold on a minute, let me confirm," he said, he pressed the walkie-talkie and contacted Troop 5.
A few minutes later, he keeps contacting it but no one is answering.
"Troop 5, this is Commanding Officer Cloud waiting for your report, over"
Once again no one answered.
"What the hell happened to them?" Cloud scratched his chin.
I flipped my hair and crossed my arms over my chest.
"Lend me some troop, I will find this out"

Together with troop 8, I arrived at the Cleopatra where the Troop 5 was last seen. It's 5 kilometers away from the headquarters and 3 kilometers where the demon invasion happened.
One member of troop 8 told me they located some traces of blood and destroyed weapons not so far away in the area, so I immediately searched and scanned the place.
There I saw the massacred troop 5, blood scattered around the whole place, broken pieces of dead bodies is slightly visible. It was as if they were ambushed.
I know this not the demon's fault, if a demon kills you it will smash you into a pulp.
"Report this to the headquarters" I ordered them, then flipped my hair. "Someone out here is not a devil"
Lucia's point of view
For some reason, my bruises and injuries are quite healing faster. I don't know why, maybe it's because of the devilish body I am using. I wrapped my waist with a bandage, hiding the tattoo I had since the first day. And after that, I change my clothes and used the silver ones I found in the closet.
"Lucia" Angelique entered my room. "Someone came to see you"
As I heard those words, I walk my way towards the front door. And to my surprise, it was Cloud grinning.
"Hello"
I let him come in since Phoenix already left a few hours ago.
"What is up?" I asked.
Cloud scratched his chin.
"I just want to say sorry, troop 5 should've taken care of the demon but turns out you were the one who handled it"
"It's fine" I stated. "It's also the Colonel's job" though, it's hundred percent true but it's not me who took the demon down, thanks to Phoenix I am still alive.
"You mentioned troop 5," I said as I grab some water inside the fridge. "No troops came earlier Cloud"
"That is also one of the reasons I came here Colonel" he fakes a grin. "Troop 8 together with Corporal Avarice reported something earlier so the authorities called a meeting, a m******e happened"
Massacre?!
"Let's go to the headquarters, the meeting will start soon"

"Earlier we headed to Cleopatra to confirm the troop 5's condition" someone named Avarice stated.
We are currently in the meeting room, the place has a huge map in the City enabling us to conduct a plan or discussion.
She put a Knight sculpture on the place called Cleopatra, it may sound like the last ruler of Egypt but I am hundred percent certain it's a place here in hell.
"Cleopatra is 3 kilometers away to the place where the invasion happened earlier, I'm pretty sure they are chasing it right before the ambush"
So it means, that whoever is behind the ambush, that person wants the City to be invaded by demons and I'm certain that's also what the others are thinking right now. But the question is, Who is it? And why?
"How the hell did that demon entered this place? Is it the gate security personnels fault?!" a guy exclaimed.
"That's not the point Rude, the lost soul is also revamping. If before they can't penetrate through metals, now they can even be summoned right on or under the ground" Cloud stated.
What? It means whenever and wherever we are, we can be attacked by those creatures?
"Is that the reason kung bakit nakapasok ang lost soul na yun dito sa City?" Avarice asked. "Then why didn't you tell us before, jerk!" then she flipped her hair.
"Hehe sorry, I also just got to confirm it earlier when troop 5 are still alive" Cloud answered while scratching his chin.
"We need to strengthen the security of the whole city" a guy named Gremor stated. "As the chief, I'll take responsibility for this"
We continued to discuss the enhancement of the security for the City, but suddenly a staff came in with a trace of shock on his face.
"T-t-the g-gate is-"
We didn't let him finish, we quickly ran outside the meeting room and head towards the location of what they call weapons.
"Killea, give us the ultimate weapon you developed, now!" Avarice shouted towards a woman who's busy repairing something earlier before we came.
"B-but it's not yet fully tested, Corporal!"
Avarice stared at her while wearing her armor and when she's done, she quickly flipped her hair.
"I said now"
Killea couldn't do anything but to order her assistant to release the newly developed weapons.
"This is the most badass weapon I'd ever created, this is what I call 'Ultima!' Hope you all will like it!" she excitedly stated. "Just aim the heart of the demon and BOOM!" emphasizing the word boom.
I grabbed one of them after wearing my armor, it actually feels light to my use so I kinda admire her invention.
"The Chief and Captain will secure the City, the Colonel, Corporal and Commander will take 3 troops to eliminate the demons on the gate, over" Cloud stated to the walkie-talkie radio before grabbing one of the weapons.
Now, this is making me nervous.
