Chapter 9

Lucia's point of view

As soon as we arrived at Malvido Sitio, many authorities are already there. From low ranks, and even some ordinary devils had gathered. This place is so huge, very classy, and royal I am just like having a dream, who would have thought that hell has this kind of palace.

I saw Avarice from the distance together with the other Corps officers, probably having chitchats.

I let Angelique roam around for the main time since she's really amazed by the beauty of the place. She's actually the type of person who's interested in different interior designs since she's a BS Architecture student.

"I thought you won't come"

I quickly turned my head over Dark who's really handsome with his black outfit.

Wait- no I mean...

"Are you okay?" he asked.

"Yeah" I immediately answered. "It's just nice to see you again, I really thought you were gone"

Yeah, like really gone since Cloud said those words with me. That bastard.

He chuckled and patted my head.

"Not yet, since we are still finding the devil's bride" he stated. "Though we found her, we're still confirming it"

Right, the bride. I almost forgot I have lots of questions about it.

"What will happen if she's really the one you've been looking for?" I asked.

Dark stared at me and smiled.

"The bride needs to marry Death" he paused. "Death is the eldest among us and he posses the greatest power "

"And what happens if they got married?"

He shifted his gaze upon the crowd.

"It will bring our wings back, which is the only way to through the heaven"

Bliss' point of view

Together with Ms. Killea, we walk our way towards Cloud who's currently having a conversation with Death, Quartz, Igneous, and Ash.

"Excuse our intrusion your highness" Ms. Killea.

"Killea? Bliss?" Cloud smiled and slightly scratched his chin.

"Yo wazzup Killea" Quartz greeted her and smiled at me. "And of course, Bliss"

I bowed to greet them and minutes after I let Ms. Killea do all the talk.

She asked Cloud if it's okay to talk in private about the weapon Ultima and so he agreed to it, Quartz also wants to join the other party to have some fun and chats with the guests so the only ones left is me and the other three princes.

"What the fck is wrong with you?!" 

A commotion grabbed everyone's attention, causing both Death and Igneous to ask what's going on.

"What the hell?!" Igneous' face became serious and a hint of anger was drawn.

He excused himself to check the happenings outside, and Death to my surprise was crossing his arms while staring at both me and Ash.

"You two should talk" he stated, which makes me squeeze my palms.

I can't.

"I'll leave both of you, so do what I said" he continued.

Minutes after, both of my feet freezes as I realized we were the only ones left, I can't stand the awkward situation. For sure, Ash has already forgotten me since it's been a million years. I know I don't have any right to complain that he left me behind without any single word, but it hurts so much that seeing him makes me want to cry.

Silence filled the four corners of the room, I couldn't do anything but stare at my reflection on the floor.

"Bliss" Ash's voice echoed towards my ears.

I missed his voice.

"Leaving" he paused. "Was my only choice"

I turn my head in his direction and saw his poker face looking at me. I smiled at him and I didn't even realize tears were starting to flow down through my cheeks.

"I know," I said. "You never regretted anything anyway"

All of our memories together, his promises, none of those are true, and that's for sure. Since the only thing that's important to him is his reputation as a prince of hell.

"Forget me, forget everything about us Ash"

Angelique's point of view

I was so happy earlier since we arrived here in Malvido place, this is the first time that I saw a huge palace and I'm so fcking lucky because Lucia let me roam around to see every single detail of the interior. I know there are limitations, I was only looking at the Main hall but un-fcking-fortunately..

"Hi, Miss" this bastard keeps grabbing my attention.

"Are you alone? Can I escort you? I'll tour you around here" he smiled while holding a bottle of whiskey.

"Who the fck are you?"

"You don't know me?" He confusedly asked. "I'm Sin, the prince of lust. So would you mind?" he grinned and kissed my hands.

The fck? Prince? Lust? So he's definitely an asshole huh, this guy is nuts. I promised myself not to butt in into any of the princes so whatever the fck it is leave me alone.

"No thanks" I stated and started to walk away.

But to my surprise, he grabbed my wrist, pushed me behind the wall, and lock me between his arms. I quickly slapped his face due to the adrenaline rush, he released me and chuckled.

"What the fck is wrong with you?!"

By that time, everyone's attention was drawn to us. But he's just laughing like an i***t, he isn't guilty about what he did, this is definitely harassment!

"Miss, relax okay? I won't hurt you or anything" he added.

"Are you fcking kidding me?!" I exclaimed in annoyance.

He doesn't have any rights to harass me, even if he's a prince I don't fcking care. What a goddamn perverted asshole!

"What the fck is happening here?!"

Another guy arrived with his red coat, probably confused about what's going on.

"Seminar that stupid fcking prince with good manners !" I pointed the perverted asshole.

"What?!" His brows furrowed. "No matter how stupid the prince is, you have no fcking rights to say a fcking disrespectful words in front of him" he stated and I know he's so angry at what I just said.

"The fck? So what do you want me to do? You want me to flirt back?!" I sarcastically said. "That damn fcker harassed me and you're telling me to fcking behave? Fcking piece of sht!"

"How can you fcking say something like that? Who the fck are you to say such words to the prince of wrath?!"

So this piece of sht is the prince of wrath, we'll serve him right!

"I don't care, ugly fcker!" I shouted, causing him to grab my shirt and lean his face closer to mine. 

"What did you just fcking say?"

"Ugly-fcker!"

"Umm.. guys?" Sin interrupted.

And I just realized that almost all of the people here are looking at us, even Lucia is confusedly staring at me.

Oh sht, what did I just fcking do? Fck fck fck I am so fcking doomed!

Before the Prince of Wrath could even release me, a loud bang suddenly exploded outside the Hall. Everyone's gaze shifted at the black smoke on the huge entrance of the palace.

"Your highness!" a woman shouted while breathing heavily. "5 demons invaded the city!"

The guy quickly released and shoved me onto the floor, Lucia quickly grabbed me out of the way because everyone else is panicking.

"Stay here Angelique" she stated. "I'm gonna help the corps to eliminate the demons 'kay? Just stay here" she continued and draw the blade that Phoenix gave to her.

As soon as Lucia left, I saw a familiar figure just somewhere here inside.

She's staring blankly at anyone like she's finding something, someone.

What are you doing here Phoenix?
