Kyle Randolph, is the first child of Mr and Mrs Randolph. he is said to be an arrogant young man by many, and also feared, due to his sophisticated aura and bossy personality. On the other hand, there's Ciara, an orphan, innocent and pretty, leaving her life just to please her aunt. running away from home, she finds a job to work under the arrogant boss. Fate they say has a way of doing things.how does fate come in in the life of these too entirely different people? 🌹 CHAPTER 1🌹 🍀 VIVIEN'S DEATH 🍀 "Cia baby come,*cough* over here please" came Vivien's weak voice. "mum I'm here, do you need something" Ciara asked standing by her mother's bedside. *coughs*"should I get you water," Ciara asked worry edged on her little but beautiful face. * ******* Ciara Grand a twenty year old beautiful young lady, the only child of Mr and Mrs Grand, once had a life every girl would dream of, but then her wall of perfection came crumbling down. Though life wasn't always bad,she had once been a wealthy princess, who had all at her beck and call, but after the passing of her father, Austin Grand when she was just twelve, things took a drastic turn. Her uncle, Brian, had laid claim on the Grand Family property, at first it was all supposed to go to Ciara but Brian claimed that she was still too young to shoulder the responsibilities of running a company, which of course was true. He promised to take over the company until she had come of age. but a while after he connived with the family lawyer and transfered everything to his name and only let them ( Ciara and Vivien) stay at the mansion claiming that they where family, but it was obvious he did it to keep his reputation safe. Since, then Ciara's mom dedicated her life to send Ciara to school, until she lost her job. On several occasions, Brian was asked for help in assisting Ciara's education, he always had a excuse to make, meanwhile Ethan and Nicole his two children studied in the best schools. Vivien had no other options but to use up all her savings for Ciara's tuition, but as everyone knows life is cruel and unfair, Vivien got sick, but she couldn't afford to go for a check up. Once again Brian help was seeked all to no avail. *********** " No baby, just have a sit next to mama." Ciara sat obediently with red puffy eyes, seeing her mother like this, so helpless had never been in her wildest dreams. " You know I love you * coughs*" "Of course I know that mama, and I love you too." Ciara said earning a weak smile from her mother. "Mama wants to tell you something very important". " Go on mama". "No matter what happens to me....." "Don't say that mom, nothing is gonna happen to you" Ciara said as tears welled up in her captivating blue eyes. Vivien couldn't help but give her a sad smile and lifted up her already thin hands to touch Ciara's face. Ciara couldn't help it as the tears were left to glide freely down her face. The mother she had always known was a chubby but beautiful woman, but the illness had reduced her to this. "Cia, child I don't think I can go on". "mom please". "Ciara, I want you to promise me something". "Anything mama,but........". "Look at me *coughs* promise me that no matter what happens do not think of revenge as an option". "Please, stop talking mama.". "Ciara ". "No mom save your strength, let me go get you some medicine, Dawn promised to lend me some money......" " Princess, look at me, i am going somewhere to rest, a place where there's no pain". "Then we'll go together " Ciara said making Vivien chuckle almost inaudibly. "Ciara". "Yes mama" "Take this key" she said handing Ciara a key which had been on her neck as a pendant. "What do I do with this". "When I'm gone, there is a box underneath this bed. it contains everything I left for you, to live a comfortable life". "You're going no where mama" " Ciara always remember that mama loves you, and no matter what happens, if you get to know the truth *coughs* " What truth" " Just remember I loved you from the onset" she said gasping for air. "Give mommy a hug" she said to Ciara."I love you baby." she whispered giving up. Ciara felt her mother's grip lessen, so she withdrew from the hug. " Mom, mom, mama, stay with me" she shook Vivien vigorously but Vivien had left for the world beyond. As the realization struck her she cried. she was now alone, no father, no mother, she was all alone now.she cried with her mother in her arms The maids in the house hadn't seen her all morning. So nanny minda, her personal nanny, when her dad was still alive, went to check up on her, only to be met by the shock of her life. She screamed, bringing the whole house together.
