Layla's POV As stupid as it seemed I was proud to see Asher standing against the other pack leaders, he was respected amoung them and was perceived to become the greatest Alpha of them all. It made me angry to know my rival was going to be the Alpha of our pack. I would have to be a loyal subject to him but it didn't mean I couldn't be a thorn in his skin. Arora: You look stunning in that dress,no wonder Asher has his eyes glued on you. Layla: Oh arnt you funny imagine me being your sister inlaw, and being the mate to your brother, and our soon to be Alpha. Asher's POV She then turned and walked away, I couldn't understand why I was stearing at her so much. I had to admit she looked beautiful in her Black silk backless dress like she was the moon Godest her self filled with luminous light of intoxicating beauty. Her hair was done in a messy bun but it was styled with so much effort, and long strands of her hair flowed against her back. I looked up suddenly i could feel my eyes collapsed with hers I could feel her hate for me. I hate her. I heard my self say ......I do, do I? Layla's POV The Ceremony was about to start and Asher looked like the definition of tall dark and handsome, all the girls were stearing at him like a piece of meat. I rolled my eyes Alpha" everyone turned and looked at me expecting me to continue speaking Ahh congratulations" I said and glided my way out of the pack members sight. Asher noded his head and approached the middle of the floor and reapeated the Packs laws as he was finished, the cealing of the building opened up and the full moon shone down on this face. It was the first time we were going to see him transform into his wolf, because it was against the Packs law for the future Alpha and any underaged pack member to shift into their wolf until they graduated from the academy and the moon Godest blessed them on the night of the Ceromony, also to remove any thoughts of new pack members being killed because of a foreseen threat. I felt the glass of wine slip from my hands and I heard my glass break on the floor. It was not what I had expected Asher had shifted into a huge black wolf, his fur had streaks of gold and white as if it was sown in by the moon Godest with intriquet design, his eyes were blue and green but seemed dark and filled with hatred and determination. He then let out a growl and howled at the moon to give the Moon Godest respect. I had never seen a wolf that big he even surpassed his father's expectations. All pack members and other Alphas from the other packs closed their eyes and knelt to show they were going to be loyal to him He shifted back into his human form. I forgot to kneal I was too shocked of what I had seen . I looked ahead to meet Asher's blue and green eyes, I kept stearing as he seemed intreaged with me he looked down on himself, and i followed his eyes. Wait, What!!! he's nacked!!!! I closed my eyes and quickly knelt. He's going to taunt me for the rest of my life. Asher's POV I scanned through the crowed after getting dressed to find Layla, I wanted to to taunt her, somehow it was enjoyable to see her role her eyes when being annoyed with me. Since I was officially the Alpha of the pack it would be harder for her to keep a straight face while we had one of our humerous converations . My father agreed and joined members of the Moon pack,and Valley pack to become Moon Valley Pack . Her father Alpha James, and mother Luna Meia died in a rouge fight with the most eveilest pack Alpha of all the Packs from the Midnight Pack. He tried to kill all the Alphas and future leaders, but luckily the Aspen Law and other Alphas passed the law that he would be banished from the the circle of wolves.Thats until the Blue Moon Mate of the Pack Alpha, the most powerful Luna described to be given the Moon Godeses power to supply energy to the Pack she's in. Its also said that she would always need to be close to the Alpha of the pack who was also to be her mate. ......... My father and mother took Layla as our sister and treated her with care and respect. She was furious when she was told the male needed to be the Alpha of the Pack and that she would not be given the position no matter what the circumstance were, from that day she hated me and I was forced to hate her. I punched the wall and felt the cracks of concrete fall at the floor I Approched the Male, lifted him from the ground with one hand around his neck, and threw him to the floor. I was just about to shift into my wolf Alex to rip him to threads after I let out a loud growl. The male quickly bowed and said Please Alpha Asher forgive me for my stupid comment I am loyal to you. he was trembling and looked like his life was being left from his body, know your place i said . I gazed up to see Layla looking at me with fear in her eyes she looked horrified. Layla's POV I heard the commotion and sprung from the chair placed on the third floor above the Ceromony, I saw Asher filled with anger from a distance. He was using his power already to bring fair into people's eyes even mine. I realized I was out of my place to be disrespecting the Alpha of the pack the way I was . He would be able to kill me with his hands tied behind him back. I was afraid I was going to be next on the list of wolves he wanted to conquered. I graped my neck in fear as his eyes meet mine.
