While Mr. X and Suoic Ipsus were duking it out, the team of Ms. H, Ms. D, and Ms. U were walking along a very dark and narrow corridor within the Providence.
Ms. H has the Blessing called Calamity. She can create level 6 storms capable of destroying countries and even continents… even the entire planet. She is one of the most powerful members of the Emissaries of Balance.
Ms. D, the newest member of the Emissaries of Balance, inherited the Blessing called Trait Difference which she uses on individuals to lessen, neutralize, or even negate a destructive trait of any human being except for her fellow Emissaries of Balance.
Ms. U’s Blessing is called Maid Butler. Top notch service and even safety services are provided by her powers. Her combative prowess is the best among the Emissaries of Balance.
“So far, so good…” Ms. D looked around while fixing her atto-com [Communication device disguised as a mole behind the ears]. “I’m not really used to being an Emissary yet…”
“You’ll get used to it,” Ms. H checked out the black particles floating around. “You are lucky for Alpha Boss gave you a chance to age till you reach 18.”
“Ms. D is apparently too young to work, but thankfully, she is here with us… alive,” Ms. U stayed vigilant to her surroundings. “I was wondering where this corridor will take us…”
“Yeah… wished we’ve been given a map for reference…” Ms. H sighed. “I wonder what these black things are…”
“As long as we wear our masks, we won’t be able to inhale it though…” Ms. U continued to survey their surroundings.
Upon reaching the end of the long corridor, they were met by a split path. A wider path on the left, while the same narrow part on the right. Decision-making was the most important thing here…
“So… which one are we going to take?” Ms. D gazed at the diverging pathways. “I’m kinda rearing to go on the wider one… but I feel like the narrow one is the right path…”
“I have that gut feeling too,” Ms. H giggled. “Call it… the girl intuition~”
“I’m confused,” Ms. U was having some sort of difficulty in deciding which one to take. “I haven’t been this confused. I guess we’ll have to take that narrow path then…”
“Let’s hope we’re not wrong,” Ms. H crossed her fingers.
“You doing that reminds me of Mr. X,” Ms. D chuckled.
“Oh you mean your knight in shining armor~” Ms. H teased her.
“…” Ms. D seemed to have blushed. “I’m too young for him…”
“Don’t worry,” Ms. U patted her in the head, “you’ll turn legal in two years. Are you guys ready to go?”
Ms. U took a deep breath. She wasn’t really sure that the path they chose was the right one. Out of instinct, she took out her katana and gripped it tight.
“Are you okay?” Ms. H looked at Ms. U, “you seemed tense…”
“I’m actually having second thoughts about the path we chose.” Ms. U turned around to look back and saw darkness… “Even the ceiling above us is abyssal…”
“Yeah, but thanks to our masks, we don’t need to use lights…” Ms. D tried to reassure them. “We can also contact the base if we encounter any problem…”
All of a sudden, the movement of the black particles became erratic.
Ms. U could feel the intense feeling that they were being watched and followed…
She suddenly felt it… an overwhelming presence from behind where they came from…
The two others felt it too…
“We should run…” Ms. H felt goosebumps all over. “I don’t know why but we should get the hell away from this place.”
“What’s this feeling?” Running from the strange presence, Ms. D started feeling sick like she wanted to vomit… “I’m scared!”
“Just keep running ladies!” Ms. U gripped her katana tighter as they ran following the narrow corridor.
Even when running, the pressuring presence remained constant. The black particles continued to move around like crazy… like bees swarming their victims. It didn’t hurt of course, it just… scared them even more.
It seemed that they had somehow manage to see light up ahead which could mean exit!
Was it over? Were they already safe?
Those were the questions that popped out of their minds…
The line between fantasy and reality had gotten blurred… blurred enough…
When they reached the light…
All of them turned pale…
The place was full of dead human bodies rotting… decaying… as pungent aroma trickled through their noses. They had to activate the purifier within their masks. Realizing that the room was a dead end, they prepared for the worst…
The massive pressure grew nearer… and nearer… Alas! The stranger appeared in front of them.
With yellow eyes asymmetrical to each other… one looking at Ms. H, while the other eye looking at Ms. U, red markings on its green skin, and flaps behind its head, and finally… a tongue so long that it definitely resembled one distinct animal… a chameleon.
But was it just a chameleon? What about those green insect wings?
And those extra pair of limbs?
They looked like that of a housefly’s…
Ms. D screamed at the top of her lungs from the terror that was in front of them. The monster grinned as the women emitted fear.
“I am Xavier… Xavier Xenophobia…”
As soon as he said who he was, his tongue hit Ms. U so powerful like a human being hit by a car in an express highway. Ms. U crashed into a wall and was knocked down… still alive, thankfully, but definitely hurt.
Ms. H stirred up a power gust that blew the Destiny Seeker to the wall as she signaled Ms. D to run and contact Mr. O!
It seemed like nobody answered… because at that point in time, Master W and Mr. O went to save Mr. X, Ms. Y and Ms. Z from three other Destiny Seekers who came to back Suoic Ipsus up.
Ms. D cried as she ran away never giving up in calling for help as Ms. H and Ms. U were left to face the monster. Unable to think properly she just continued to ask for help… help that wasn’t able to reach Mr. O and Master W while they were busy facing against other adversaries.
“Your power is useless against me,” Xenophobia broke through Ms. H’s gust and spit a sticky fluid at her!
Ms. H dodged in time and raised her hand at him, “Lightning Strike!”
When the Destiny Seeker got hit by her lightning, he directed the electricity to the ground with a strong punch creating a shockwave that knocked back Ms. U who was just getting to her feet and Ms. H. Xenophobia proceeded to spit at them with his sticky saliva and approached the struggling Ms. H.
“You will become my play things soon,” he whispered to her ear and knocked her out.
After making sure that Ms. U was knocked out as well, three women appeared from a hidden door within the room. Qualm, the wavy green-haired, Yammer the straight pink-haired, and Unaware the curly brunette. They seemed to work for Xenophobia despite their positions as fellow Destiny Seekers.
“Take these two to their prison cells,” Xenophobia stared at them with his left eye while the other eye was fixated at the unconscious emissaries, “while one of you will have to look for the other one that escaped…”
“I’ll do it,” Yammer immediately left to hunt for Ms. D.
“We’ve captured ten more unsuspecting mortals for you to consume,” Unaware dragged Ms. U towards the door. “Are you going to play with your mortal victims first or would you like to start with one of these women?”
“Just put them in line and I will do it in chronological order,” Xenophobia followed the women with his each of his eyes as they were dragged away to the room…
Meanwhile… [F’lux’s POV]
Jumping out from the portal, I chanced upon Yammer who is just another target of mine. Shocked from my sudden appearance, she backed off. I noticed that her concentration wasn’t on me. Is she looking for someone? Perhaps… an Emissary?
A few moments ago…
“Hello Wolfy~” Czarina grabbed me by the shoulders and proceeded to make me carry her piggyback. “Where have you been?”
I can feel her awfully huge breasts pressing against my back. If she were a human… I would’ve been very pleased, but she’s a god… a being that I loathed… even though I was one of them, myself.
“Get off me b***h…” I shook her off. “Remember why we’re here… what we are meant to do here.”
“I know but~” she blew on my nape giving me the tingling sensation which made me roll away from her. She then continued was she was about to say, “but I realized that we were beaten to the punch by the sudden appearance of visitors~”
“So you knew,” I rubbed of my nape. “You won’t believe what had happened on my side…”
After telling her about my previous encounter, I proceeded to change the color of my hair from yellow-brown to blue-green as it was necessary for my Lifebringer form… because aside from being partly human and destiny seeker, I am also part Lifebringer. This might not be important, but when I was still human, I used to have black hair… when I was turned into a Destiny Seeker, my hair color changed to yellow-brown and also my brown irises turned into blue… including my pupils… and as I transitioned into a Lifebringer when I was recruited by Lady Naxo, along with Injectro Czarina, my hair color changed to blue-green.
“Teacher Warden is with the Emissary of Balance?” Czarina jumped from her seat, “Abra and Spriggan never mentioned about them at all…”
“It’s because you never asked,” I rolled my eyes. “Enough about what happened to me, what about you?”
“I was just playing around and doing nothing… I reckon, you were more fit to do this assassination because you personally hate them… of course, you hate me too right?”
“Too bad, you are part Lifebringer just like me,” I sighed…
“You know, I kind of wanted to request you this…” she moved her fingers toward my chest climbing up to my chin. “Would you spare the triplets for me?”
“There are too many triplets here…” I removed her flirty fingers away from me. “I told you I decked out the tentacle trio already.”
“The triplets working for Xenophobia was what I was going for,” she grinned. “Save them and let them work under you~”
“What would it benefit me?”
“Just protect them… they are my juniors…”
“I’ll be the judge of that, myself,” I fired up a portal. “If they don’t get in my way… I won’t kill them…”
“Of course you wouldn’t,” Czarina pointed her sharp nails behind my back. “You wouldn’t…”
I entered the portal and flipped my middle finger at her as it closed, “Well f**k you because I’ll be the judge of that…”
…
“You are…” Yammer turned her head to the right like a curious dog, “… the Weirdo…”
“What if I am, are you going to get in my way, Destiny Seeker?”
“I don’t even know your purpose, Mr. Weirdo.” She looked scared for some reason. “You can threaten to kill me because I’m already used to it…”
“Oh, and may I ask who threatened you before?” If this b***h is honest with her answers, I won’t killing her…
“Xavier Xenophobia threatens us daily…”
“So you never told Lord Exyd about these threats?”
“He never cared even once,” Yammer seemed to be in a hurry, “told us if we get killed, we’d be easily replaced…”
This b***h might be telling the truth, “How about this? A certain someone asked me to save you, the three of you, from Xenophobia… that is if… you don’t get in my way…”
“W-w-what’s the reason?” she backed off.
“So apparently… I am taking on a personal mission to kill Destiny Seekers like you or… you know… like what I already did with the tentacle trio earlier… I allowed them to get captured by the intruders.” I approached her and touched her pretty little face, “However, a certain onee-chan asked me to spare the three of you… if you’d swear your loyalty to me…”
As my eyes begun constricting, I noticed that she wetted herself.
As I let go off her, she backed off, lowered her head and knelt in front of me, “I, Yue the Yammer, on behalf of my sisters, swear my loyalty to you…”
“If you ever turned your back against me,” I crossed my fingers… “Misfortune will befall unto you…”
“I will not go against my word…”
“You seemed to have changed sides so quickly that I have been doubtful of all of this…”
“I have never sworn an oath to Xenophobia,” she still continued to kneel. “This is the first time that I have ever sworn an oath…”
“Sure-sure-sure,” I just shrugged off my shoulders. “How about you take me to Xenophobia? I want to shred him pieces already…”
She stood up ignoring the fact that she wetted herself a while back, “Right this way… Master.”
“F’LUX, call me Master F’lux.”
