CHAPTER 7: Confrontation

“You don’t need to hide from me. It just so happened that our goals are the same… Emissary of Balance.”

“Who are you talking to, Master F’lux?” Yue asked me while looking around.

“For someone with eyes as big as yours, you are quite blind…” I sighed at Yue’s incompetence. “Come out whoever you are, I won’t bite… unless you want me to…”

I raised my azure left hand…

The emissary in hiding revealed herself. A girl with a D-marked mask… a bit wary of my presence.

“You’re the one who got away from Xenophobia,” Yue turned her head sideways. “Why didn’t you just run away?”

“Because that man will allow me to capture the enemy…” the girl replied.

I’m so impressed with that girl. She’s not really that good at trying to hide her fears but… oh well… she is brave nonetheless…

“Of course… I will allow you, girl, to collect the remains of Xenophobia,” I grinned at her with my constricted eyes… “Although it would be… quite the ride if you called for Master W and uh who was it again? Mr. O… they might think of me and uh her as… threats… so don’t you call them yet, okay?”

“Okay, I’ll call them when you all left,” she seemed to just accepted everything that easily.

Is she perhaps a new member? Perhaps… I could make it more exciting…

“No… call them when I tell you to call them…”

“IF I called them with you around, you already told me that they’d find you threatening…”

“You know about Master W, right?” I slowed my pace to match hers. “You know that he was a Destiny Weaver… you see… I was his replacement when he left… it took a while though before Lord Exyd… our Supreme Being, to recruit a new replacement… and to tell you the truth… I am also part human.”

“Just for the record, Master F’lux,” Yue seemed to have matched her pace with us as well, “I never did once in my life rejected you even though the others did…”

“Zip your mouth unless I told you to talk, scream, or cry,” I glared at Yammer and then glanced back to Ms. D. “I am actually three in one… part human, part Destiny Seeker, and part Lifebringer courtesy of Lady Naxo the Supreme Life Being. What I am actually telling you is that Master W once had students among the Destiny Seekers who wanted to see him again… that’s why I wanted one of my comrades… to get to finally have a wonderful reunion with him… isn’t that wonderful?”

“I don’t know if I could trust you.” She slowed her pace.

She could be thinking of turning back…

“How about this?” I showed her my monster hand. “Trust me… or I’ll kill you.”

I grinned…

“I’m lying of course,” I laughed. “We should pick up the pace… I can already smell some rotten flesh…”

Reaching the end of the narrow hallway, I sighed as human bodies piled up in this small room. It seemed like Ms. D is hesitant to come with us… poor girl must’ve been traumatized when she saw this…

She’s alone… normally, she’d have partners with her… Could it be that… her comrades were captured or killed?

“The room is right over there…” Yue the Yammer revealed a secret door in one of the walls. “Beyond that wall is his domain… and way beyond that is the prison cell for his captives.”

“Did you hear that, Ms. D?” I assumed that her comrades might be in the prison cell… here goes nothing… “Tell you what, I face off with Xenophobia… while Yue will escort you to your friends.”

I looked at Yue, “You make sure… she gets to save her comrades.”

I looked back at Ms. D, “Once you save your comrades… or any human survivors there, let Yue and her sisters leave first and then call for back up. As a fellow human being, do you get me girl?”

Ms. D seemed to trust me again, “Alright… let’s do this.”

Yue opened the door, “After you, Master F’lux.”

As soon as I entered together with Yue and Ms. D, Xenophobia unleashed his overwhelming pressure towards our direction.

It was underwhelming…

“Why is the human replacement here, Yammer?” Xenophobia started with an insult.

I need to get back at him.

“You don’t need to answer, Yue,” I licked my lips. “He called me human replacement… then what are you supposed to be huh? A frog, a toad… or are you perhaps a failed science experiment… or perhaps a green-skinned alien? Whatever you are… you are disgusting to look at!”

“Why aren’t you answering me, Yammer?” Xenophobia continued to ignore me.

That was another insult, actually…

“Because I only answer to my master,” Yue spat on the floor. “You sick f**k!”

Little did I know, Yue was already communicating with her sisters… I guess you could call it the twin connection… delivering them the message that I was also their new master… it was fun…

“You w***e,” Xenophobia stood up from his throne and tosses a dead body to the side.

“That hurts, right Xenophobia?” I yelled at the green demon. I fired up a portal, “Injectro, are you there?”

“I thought I told you to call me by my name,” Injectro went out of the portal. “Why did you bring me here?”

“Because that girl with the mask will call for Warden,” I winked at Ms. D, “Change of plans, you have to call them now and once you do… you go and save your comrades alright?”

“What’s happening here?!” Xenophobia looked left out and confused.

“You go and wait for your Teacher Warden while I go and shred this green demon out,” I grinned at Injectro as Ms. D made her distress calls. I glared at the cross-eyed green s**t, “I’M HERE TO SHRED YOU TO PIECES… BITCH.”

As soon as her back up arrived, she explained to them what had happened.

Also, I was already having a wild brawl with the monster. To my surprise, the monster wasn’t as weak as the tentacle trio…

Xenophobia was vicious!

[Master W’s POV]

“Why the hell are they fighting each other?”

“Teacher Warden,” a familiar voice called for me and when I stepped out and see who it was…

“Czarina,” I looked at her but I remained cautious. I looked back at Mr. O, “You go and get the prisoners out of the prison. I’ll take care of things here…”

As soon as they left, I cautiously approached my ex-student.

“It’s been so long… but I demand an explanation for why you left us,” Czarina was very tearful.

“I’m sorry,” That’s the only thing that I could tell her… that’s the only thing that came out of my mouth.

“Why didn’t you take us with you?” she asked as she slowly approached me. “Why did you betray Lord Exyd?”

I realized something wrong, “Lord Exyd betrayed his sole purpose…”

“But you still betrayed us and left us…” Czarina’s tearful look changed into that of a scheming witch. She grinned, “I was thinking of… hearing a better answer from you, but you disappoint me, Teacher Warden. And now… I have to kill you.”

I spread out my clawed tentacles and braced myself as she charged at me full of killing intent!

She wasn’t the same Injectro that I taught way before…

This was the Destiny Seeker, I needed to remember that…

Before she could even land a single strike, I flooded her with a flurry of tentacles causing a lot of whiplash trying to easily ensnare her. However, as I continued to send out my tentacles, the more I noticed and felt the pain…

She was penetrating through my thick skin…

At last, with one final push, she made it towards me and prepared to deliver her fatal blow when…

A force field made of light appeared in front of me to block the attack!

“I had the prophetic intuition that you might need my help,” From the portal that Mr. O accidentally left open, Mr. G made his entrance. “Somebody left the door open… so I might as well intervene…”

Czarina moved away from us, “New students of yours, Teacher Warden?”

“Students?” said an arrogant voice from behind Mr. G, “I don’t take peasant gods as my teacher, no offense W.”

“That’s how Mr. F usually speaks,” Little Miss E kicked Mr. F out of the portal. “You should mind your honorifics, nobleman…”

“Ugh, Little Miss E, your stinky shoes put a dirt on my noble robes,” Mr. F scoffed. “I’m gonna wash them later… as for that woman with skimpy outfit, what are you, a w***e?”

“How dare you?!” Czarina sent out an eerie bolt of lightning towards our direction.

“Let me feed on some information,” Mr. F allowed himself to get hit. However, he only took half the damage while the other half got absorbed within him. “Well that hurt…”

“You should’ve been fried!” Czarina, instead of getting irritated, grinned at the sight. “This will be fun~”

“Czarina also known as Injectro, sibling of the captured Violence…” Mr. F seemed to have processed the absorbed power into data. “She is part Destiny Seeker and part Lifebringer… she looked at us… we are in deep trouble people… she’s only used a fraction of her powers…”

“LIFEBRINGER?” I glared at Injectro, “What sort of deal have you gone through?!”

“Oh now you’re concerned,” Injectro sarcastically commented. “I was the lucky one among the rest of the Destiny Seekers to take part in Lady Naxo’s project. And I’m not alone… your replacement, Weirdo, his case is weirder than mine… part human, part Destiny Seeker, and part Lifebringer…”

Mr. O and Ms. D arrived with Ms. H, Ms. U and the rest of the human captives of Xenophobia.

“So it seemed like more of your comrades have appeared,” Injectro sighed… “Since you human beings aren’t part of my mission and you might get in my way when dealing with that Destiny Weaver with you, I guess I’ll give you a choice to leave before things get dirty… just like this-”

She mercilessly electrocutes the prisoners with a larger bolt of electricity without hitting Ms. H and Ms. U who were near them.

“How could you?” Ms. U unsheathed her blade and prepared to attack.

“Stop,” Lil’ Miss E summoned fossilized bones to block Ms. U and the others who were prepared to attack. “Don’t attack mindlessly…”

“Good call,” Injectro licked her lips. “that F person’s data collection was pretty accurate. I was only using a fraction of my true power. I’ll give you one last chance to leave…”

Mr. O and the rest headed towards the gateway while Mr. G courteously allowed me to get inside first.

“You’ve changed…” I looked at her one last time.

“Change comes with a prize,” she waved us farewell. “It’s a prize I was willing to pay for…”

[F’lux’s POV]

I was thrown through a wall and crashed at the other side.

Fuck, I never expected this Xenophobia monster to be this strong and wild…

Looking at Czarina, before I could warn her, a powerful tongue crashed through her like a ten-wheeler truck hitting a child on a pedestrian…

Xenophobia might’ve gotten devastated when his human prisoners were fried alive by her…

I wonder what happened to Czarina after that… it looked like she hadn’t move an inch… could it be that she was knocked unconscious?

“Master F’lux!” Yue supported me back to my feet, her big breasts… probably D or E cup… pressed on to my face suffocating me.

Does this b***h even know how to support a person up?!

“Get off me,” I pushed her away. “You three women go and check on Czarina while I divert that s**t HOLE’S ATTENTION!” I yelled at Xenophobia who was apparently heading towards Czarina.

Oh great, now the s**t hole’s attention returned back to me.

I’m such an i***t. I will only use my left monster hand, I said, while the right human hand won’t do anything, I said…

But I’m still an i***t, I said. I will still only use my left monster hand, I said, but this time as a Lifebringer, I said…

“Come at me bro!” I yelled at the demon as he walked towards me. “Don’t make me wait for you!”

Xenophobia spread out its wings and lunged towards me! As he did so, I changed the property of my claw into ice and shooting a beam of freezing energy! I hit his wings but he landed on his feet and continued to charge at me. Opening his mouth, he prepared to strike me again with his tongue!

“I’m not afraid of that!” Making a fist, I prepared myself as he launched his awfully long tongue at me!

For a second, I thought of using my right hand, but I remembered that I won’t be using it…

And so…

I stopped and punched the tip of his tongue head-on!

Ignoring the pain upon collision, I proceeded to freeze it in its place and grabbed onto it tearing it apart!

Of course, it was expected that he would wail in pain but, it wasn’t enough!!! I want to hear more! That tongue got me once and made me crash into that wall! I’m gonna payback tenfold!

Thinking that he won’t be able to retaliate immediately, I charged towards him!

BIG MISTAKE!

He was able to shoot a beam of energy from his eyes!

This isn’t good… I need to do use my other hand! I crossed my fingers with my right hand to give him some misfortune allowing his attack to miss me by inches… although the radiation caused me some minor burns…

I still ignored it and pushed through as flurry of beams shot through his eyes, some missed, while some hit me… It didn’t matter anymore… because when I was finally able to fully turn myself into a Lifebringer…

GAME OVER.

I burrowed my left hand into his midsection in a swift swoop! With my right hand, I forcefully separated his upper half and his lower half!

Before his upper half fell off, I caught him by the neck and raised it above… lots of organs and blood fell off him…

“SHH-SHH-SHH-SHH, I got this…” I whispered to him while cutting away his arms. “You’re impressive… you never screamed when your body was torn apart. Was it from the shock? Of course, you can’t speak anymore… but I am afraid that your eyes might still shoot those beams… I’m going to blind you now…”

Xenophobia’s eyes widened as I prepared to gauge them out.
