I saw her standing outside the hotel. She was in casual blue shorts and a yellow sleeveless button-down blouse. She completed her attire with a pair of flat shoes and she was stunning.
"Hey, baby.” I parked the car and got off the driver's seat to open the door for her. As usual, I put her seat belt on then gave her a quick kiss.
"Hey,” maikling bati niya sa akin.
"Where are we going?" tanong ko sa kanya bago ko paandarin ang sasakyan.
“Merchants River House,” she answered.
“Is that the one at Hudson River Esplanade?” Tumango siya. "Good choice. I like it there.” Tinuloy ko ang pagpapatakbo ng sasakyan.
She was a little too quiet today and seemed lost in her thoughts. Hindi na ako nakatiis kaya tinanong ko siya, "Is everything okay?"
