"She is not a Luna. She could never be a Luna." Clarence seethes.
"She is my Luna, and you will treat her with the respect she deserves, or you will leave. I will see to it." Alex challenges.
The one thing I didn't want Clarence to know rings out in the room around us. It is out of my hands now. Not much else I can do at this point. Keeping my gaze on Mia, the fear is evident. She wants to be as far away from here as she could get.
