Saved

“Can I take you home?” Mike asked, as if nothing had just happened. I’m still shaking and in a trance, coming off from a massive addiction. What did he mean by" you need to get home now? He looked frightened, as if someone was watching him. “No, I’ll be okay. You stay and have some fun. I think I have the flu or something suddenly coming up.” “Are you sure? It’s no trouble to...” “No, I’m fine,” I said a little harshly. “Okay, please let me know when you are safe and tuck into bed.” he smiled and kissed me. The passion vanished again. It’s like I want to feel the addiction that I’m feeling with Dylan. “See you guys.” I kissed Maggie and called a taxi. My mind is exploding with all the questions and the feelings I feel when Dylan is close to me. I stared out of the window, remembering everything, how he touched me, how he pulled my dress up and no one noticed it. I have so many questions with no answers. The electricity running through my body still shocks my body. It’s like just coming out of surgery and the drugs are making your body numb, but still make you feel good. “Miss?” the taxi driver called. I didn’t even realise we had stopped already. “Thank you.” I gave him a tip, and he smiled with gratitude. I sent Mike a text that I’m home and going to bed now. Before I could step on the staircase, I felt the same passionate feeling I felt inside the club and the night in the Alley, but this time I felt fear of it, like something had happened. I waited a while before I went upstairs, and suddenly I heard the familiar voice again. “Mandy.” I ran upstairs and, to my surprise, my door was unlocked with Dylan laying on my floor, bleeding. I threw my purse on the couch and bent down. He grabbed me with both his hands and asked me to save him, but how? He had bite marks all over his body again. “You have to give me some of your blood?” he asked, leaving me speechless and in shock. “What?” I asked and hoped that I had heard wrong. “Your blood can heal me.” I froze until his eyes turned yellow again, and just like that, I went into a daze. I willingly gave him my arm, and he sucked the blood out of me. I watch how the bite marks heal and the cuts that looked like nail scratches disappear. His glowing eyes were still glancing at me. I can’t seem to break free and I don’t want to. My body became weak and Dylan stop drinking my blood. His eyes turned to normal, and I passed out next to him. .............. “What happened?” I asked when I opened my eyes, still feeling foggy and my body still weak. “I’m sorry, you were the only one that could save me since it’s not a full moon,” Dylan explained, sitting on the couch, his clothes ripped to pieces, but all the marks and cuts were gone. “What did you do to me?” I got up and saw a bandage around my arm. “Don’t be afraid.” His eyes turned yellow again, and my body relaxed. “Please tell me who you are and what you’ve done to me please?” I asked calmly. Every time his eyes turn yellow, my mind goes into a different world, a world I don’t want to escape. “I’m a werewolf, next in line to be an Alpha. My glowing eyes make you calm, and I can make you do whatever I want you to do. Not everyone can do it, only werewolves that are born with the Alpha gene.” None of this makes sense to me, but I still feel safe even though he just told me he’s a werewolf and, strangely, I believe him. “Please explain this to me without turning your eyes. I won’t do anything. I just want to feel without feeling compelled,” I begged. He picked me up and sat down on the couch holding my back. He closed his eyes for a second and when it opened again, it was brown. “Are you okay?” strangely I do. I still don’t feel scared. I peeled towards my bite mark. “I’m sorry.” he lowered his face in pain. “Please explain why I’m the only one that could save you?” I picked up his head to look me in the eye. “I don’t know. You're the human that can save me, but for some reason, I feel drawn to you. From the first day I saw you I knew you’re my human. Only a human you feel drawn to can save you from an alpha bite.” Dylan still held my back while I crossed my legs around his tights. I have no idea what any of this means, but I felt drawn towards him as well, and I don’t know why. “No one can know that you’re my human. It will only put your life in danger, and you can’t speak about this, please.” I don’t respond. “Mandy, I don’t want to compel you to keep quiet, please.” I nodded, and he brought me closer to his face. “Is the bite burning?” he whispered close to my mouth. This time, he doesn’t need his yellow eyes to make me do what he wants. I want to kiss him so badly right now. “Do it.” “Kiss me,” he hissed. Like he knew exactly what I wanted to do, and his eyes were his normal brown colour. “I can’t. What I am doing is wrong because I have a boyfriend.” I stood up from his lap and went to the sink to splash some water on my face. I can’t think straight with him close to me, and I won’t be able to control what I feel. He came close and grabbed my tights. “Take care of that bite mark.” he kissed me from behind and disappeared again.
