Jane POV
I nervously sit and play with my hands. I don’t want to be here but I need answers, and there is only one person who can give them to me right now and she happens to be in the dungeons.
The others do not know I am here, they are busy preparing for the big rescue tomorrow, but I just need some answers. I know that there is a high chance that I won’t get anywhere with her but I have to at least try.
I am pulled out of my thoughts as the door to the room is opened.
“She is here.” Mitch says, dragging in a cursing Brenda.
As soon as Brenda sees me she stops moving and goes mute. She lets Mitch put her in the chair opposite me and cuff her chains to the table, but she refuses to look at me.
“Seems you have finally shut up.” Mitch says, I wince at the venom in his voice.
