“I have to ask, why did I have to lose my wolf?” I ask Jane.
We are currently sitting in my office going over the footage and reports from the guards who were on duty when Brenda escaped when the thought popped into my head. Since I ascended, I have missed my wolf, I have missed his snarky comments and how he would pant at the sight of Emma.
When Mitch told us that Brenda had escaped, we sent some guards and warriors after her, but they were unsuccessful. Emma headed to the dungeon and pulled the tapes and got statements from the guards. So now we are working through them to find anything that raises our suspicions.
Some of the Bic pack members also helped in searching for Brenda but they were unsuccessful as well, although I do hope that they become our allies as they were f
