Jim had never had a clear understanding of how much the equatorial zone had developed around Mossera 4 in the decades he’d lived there. When he’d first arrived and taken his brief tour of Mosserrania, he’d seen mostly resorts and rec complexes on the existing islands ringing the middle of the planet. There were a few half-constructed diving habitats and rumors of more on the way, but not much else.
The vast expanse dedicated to relaxation had seemed like an unimaginable paradise to him so soon after a time of horrible war.
