Luna slowly turned as Tumelo walled away chatting with his friend. She paused then turned back to see him one last tine but he had disappeared off. She laughed thinking of that wink and the smile.
She looked up and noticed the receptionist looking at her with a smile as well. Luna laughed embarrassed. The receptionist joined her.
“Ene mma he’s fine. O seka wa na shy.(Don’t be shy.) Everything time I see him I imagine what my kids with him would look like.”
Luna laughed even more. “Ng ng mma, o imagina dilo. (You imagine things.)”
“I am telling you. Mme don’t worry, Mr Bernard will probably choose you at the end of the day. He’s one of the shareholders holders here.”
“Choose for what? I don’t need no man. Bye!”
Luna laughed walking off headed back to her room. She swiped the card and walked inside her room calling Misha.
“Hello?”
“Hey… o kae Satan? (Where is Satan?)”
Misha sighed. “Timmy is gone. You got a sim card?”
“Yeah. Have you tried going to church?”
“Luna, I’m tired. Not today please. Did you even rest? Robala mma.”
“The guy from the flight, I just saw him at the hotel and this is me opening my big mouth saying he’s following me kante ene he’s here on business. He’s a shareholder in the hotel.”
Misha laughed. “Ene mma he’s cute.”
“I feel stupid but men are not my priority right now, I’m probably never going to get married.”
“Luna not everyone is like-“
“Please don’t say his name. I’ve moved on past that nonsense. I wish you can too. How do you date a man for more than 5 years so he can marry another woman who found in the relationship?”
Misha yawned. “You can come and sleep over.”
“What if Satan decides to come back? You know he despises me. Gape I need to prepare for tomorrow.”
“Ok. He is not a bad guy.”
“He is. Bye friend.”
Misha laughed. Luna hung up then paused thinking of Tumelo’s wink. She smiled then threw herself on the bed.

Later that evening, Charity stood in her kitchen cooking. She thought of Ludo’s words but this was Timothy… and she had seen his semen. But… she couldn’t rid the feeling in her heart.
Timothy walked over staring at her. He could tell her mind was far away.
“What’s wrong?”
She turned to him and forced a smile. “With?”
Timothy picked her up and placed her on the kitchen counters. “Talk to me.”
Charity looked in his eyes. “I love you. You would tell me if I am not doing something right akere babe?”
“Yes but you are perfect.”
“Why do I feel there is someone else then?” Tears itched her eyes. “
Timothy smiled. “I met you 5 years ago and every tine I see you it feels like I’m seeing you for the first time. You still make me feel the same way you made me feel that Tuesday 5 years ago. I love you so much coming back home to you is the best feeling ever. No one can ever be what you are to me so why should I cheat?”
She rubbed her eyes feeling silly. “I am sorry. I just…”
Timothy kissed her. “You are hanging out with Ludo so much her toxic s**t must be rubbing off on you.”
Charity laughed. Timothy’s phone rang. He took it out and looked at his brother’s call.
He kissed his wife picking.
“Nate…”
“Hey, can you come and get Nathaniel. Ludo and I got into a fight.”
“Ke eta. (I am coming.)”
Charity sighed. “Go.”
Timothy hurried out grabbing his car keys along the way.

At Nate’s house, Timothy parked behind the police van and hurried inside wo during what had happened this time around.
His heart skipped as he looked at his brother standing with the police with a huge blood stain on his back.
Nate turned to him and sighed.
“Thank God.”
Timothy shook his head. “What did she do to you?”
“Its nothing. They took her in. I need to get her out. Nathaniel is with the neighbour. Will you get him for me?”
The police officer shook his head. “Morena kana this is the third time this month and every time we come here, your wife would have done something to you. That woman is abusing you and there’s no shame in opening a case. We treat it the same way we’d treat a case of a woman getting abused..”
Timothy angrily stared at his brother them lifted his t-shirt to look at his back. His skin crawled as he looked at the deep cut.
“She did that to you?”
“Timothy-“
“I am sick and tired of this, o tsile go nyela Ludo!”
“You don’t understand, it’s my fault. Timmy I will handle my marriage.”
Timothy’s nose flared with anger. “How is it your…-“
He paused then pulled his brother away from the police officer.
“One day she is going to stab you to death!”
Nate breathed out. “She just lost it. I lost a deal… I… she is frustrated. I am failing to take care of my family.”
“That woman is abusive. You…” Timothy shook his head stating at his little brother. “You can’t stay.”
“We are going for therapy. It will get better. Don’t tell Charity.”
“I am sure Luna will be do happy to see you getting abused like this.”
Nate took a sharp deep breathe as his facial expression softened. “She is back?”
“Yeah. Apparently so.”
“Wow… is she… married? Kids?”
“How would I know that?”
“Hasn’t Misha said anything? Is she moving back for good?”
“I don’t know, I hope not.”
Nate breathed out as his heart raced. “Did you see her? I am sure she …” He smiled. “Did you see her?”
“Forget Luna and tell me you are going to press charges on Mike Tyson.”
“Lets go to the hospital. Is Luna staying with Misha?”
Timothy shook his head. “Please tell me we are pressing charges. This abuse has gone on for long enough, I am tired. If you don’t then I swear to you, I am going to handle get. Why you even let her do that s**t on you is still a mystery to me.”
