Damien knight’s P.O.V. Shit, I’ve been sprung out all morning with this paper work, but I know I need this s**t done. *knock knock* I knew who it was knocking because I just called him up. Damien - “come in.” In came my temporary assistant, who has been here for 2 & a half months and is leaving for college tomorrow. I told him to have the day off but he insisted, so I let him be if it’s what he really wants. Joe - “Sir you have a package that was just delivered, also Mr. Allen is here to ensure all of our software is up-to-date. Last but not least your new personal assistant will arrive tomorrow & you have a visitor.” At the word visitor I looked up at Joe & raised my eyebrow as if to question ‘who is the visitor?’ Joe - “It is Miss Aubrey Smith sir.” Damien - “Ask her to leave, if she makes a scene call security. Is that all for today Joe?” I’m f*****g sick of that female, she’s too clingy I can’t stand her. She was a good f**k but that’s all it was whenever I was drunk. Joe - “It is indeed sir, unless something unexpected comes about, your day is free other than waiting for Mr. Allen to complete his duties.” Thank f**k for that because I have a lot of paperwork that still needs my attention. Damien - “Thank you Joe, you may leave.” Ever since my old assistant quit two months ago due to her elderly age, s**t has been piling up and I need to sort it out asap. I had temporarily hired Joe, who is an awesome dude but he told me he would only help out for a couple of months because he needed to keep busy throughout the summer holidays. Joe’s brother, Jackson & I were friends back in school & well he reached out to me & asked if I had anything available. I decided to open the package delivered to me & my heart dropped. *grabs out his phone & frantically dials a private investigator’s phone number.” Damien - “I need you to find someone for me as soon as possible, can I trust you with this job.” Paul - “Yes sir, how can I help.” I relayed all the information about my ex-wife to him & told him to get back to me asap. Paul - “I will contact you as soon as I find out anything.” I hung the phone up and begun to read & watch what was before me. I was so shocked, dazed, angry maybe sad, I wasn’t too sure. My emotions were all over the place, but all I knew is I’ve wanted her home since the day she left. She wasn’t supposed to leave me. She never cheated .. She never lied .. An she was loyal to me .. But I crushed her .. Fuckk!! Holy s**t!!! I need to find her & bring her back! She should have told me earlier, how the f**k can she hide this from me for five f*****g years. Inside the package I just received was footage & photos of what really happened that night. I really f****d up this time!!!! I divorced her in a shameless way, only to find out I was the sucker in the end and she did no wrong, what the actual f**k!! I couldn’t concentrate on work after that & luckily like I was told I don’t have anything on my schedule today. I didn’t forget that I’m supposed to wait for Mr. Allen to finish his job, but instead I asked Joe to see him out because I had an emergency to attend to. “I don’t know if I should be sorry to you or not. Either way now you know.” That one line she wrote kept repeating in my head & I couldn’t stop it even if I tried to. I don’t know if she needs to be sorry to me because as far as I’m concerned, I was the one who really f****d up!!
