Season 1: Chapter 2: Unexpected Visitor

1362 Words
Bryle was dripping with sweat. His breathing was unstable and his chest was tightening as he hid at the back of his apartment's door. Catching up his breath was difficult since he's shaking too much and unable to think straight so he instead dropped himself to the floor and leaned on the door, still panting heavily in fear. What if that creature followed him? What if that creature won't keep quiet until he died? The last choice he thought was running away. He also thought that that may be the best chance to escape. After that man showed himself in front of this poor Bryle, he accidentally slapped the man and pushed him away. The creature was so hard to push so Bryle decided to run for his life and finally, he somehow made it to his house without a single scratch on his body. While on pins and needles, he managed to contact his close friend in high school, Jeremy Hernandez. "Bryle, why are you---" "H-Help me!" Bryle clattered while trying to catch up his breath. By the time Jeremy heard his friend's continuous sobbing, he immediately stood up from his gaming seat and went to his doorstep to wear his shoes. He left his live stream on. And for his game, he also left it until it's already game over. He did all of this because he thought something unusual happened to his friend. He couldn't avoid getting anxious and nervous about this sudden situation. "Alright! I'll be there right away. Hang on!" What happened to Bryle? Why was he calling me all of this sudden? Is he in danger? While on his way to Bryle's apartment, he also started to feel uneasy along the street. It feels like someone was watching him very closely from behind as he runs towards the intersection street. He didn't mind it and just continued running as fast as he could. Meanwhile, in Bryle's situation, he covered himself inside his blanket and was quivering like crazy on his bed. He prayed over and over, kneeling and begging for forgiveness. He prayed, "I won't say my life is boring anymore. Please, I don't want to die." The tears in his eyes kept falling. After a few minutes of palpitating on his bed, he suddenly fell asleep because of too much exhaustion. Even in his sleep, he was crying and calling out for help. But inside his dream, it wasn't the terrifying werewolf he has dreamed of, instead, it was the traumatizing memory of him from his childhood. The frightening sight of a belt slapping towards his face; the sudden punishment no one expected which was to kneel at those thumbtacks; and the continuous physical abuse of the poor children in the orphanage. Bryle woke up from a nightmare he'd never wished to dream of. While he's sweating and breathing harshly, he held tightly on his blanket as if the nightmare's keeping him unnerve. Beside him was a small table with a group of random medicines on top of it. "What the heck?!" He was even more shocked because of so many drinking water bottles scattered on the floor. He immediately got up and checked how many medicines were there on the table. "Why is there a lot?! I lost my count!" After getting up, he noticed the warm face towel fell from his forehead. It was the towel Jeremy put it for him when he was asleep. But why was there a bloodstain in the towel? Before getting down from his bed, he noticed a leaf of paper beside the medicines. He picked it up and opened it when he realized it was a letter coming from Jeremy. "Sorry, I was a bit late. I found you unconscious when I opened the door, so I dragged you down to your bed. I'm sorry I accidentally hit your head on the wall when I tried to lift you up. I didn't know what to do because your head was bleeding like a super-super so I bought you a lot of medicines. Don't worry, the medicines are free, you don't need to pay me. You don't have a fever, so you don't have to worry too much. You can choose and take any of the medicines, just don't die, Bryle. Right now, I'm repenting my sins for bumping your head. I'm really really sorry, Bryle. I didn't mean it. If ever you weren't able to read this message, I assume you're already dead. I'll surrender myself to the police, and I'll take my responsibilities for bumping your head accidentally. Bryle, I hope you forgive me. Your beloved friend, Jeremy." After reading the message, Bryle didn't know what to do or what to think. The only thing he's doing right now was crumpling the paper and tore it into pieces. He threw them into the floor and stamped them until it's already rotten. He's so annoyed and irritated by that jerk, Jeremy. He thought his friend was giving him extra care but no, he didn't give any care about him. No wonder there's a stain of blood from the towel. It's because of his blood. Bryle looked at the wall Jeremy was talking about. It was true. The blood was still there and it looks like a painting masterpiece since the blood was formed into a drawing of an apple. He's even more pissed and all of the sudden, he punched the wall unknowingly. His fist was throbbing in pain so he blew it out and tried to heal the pain. It took minutes to get the pulsating sting away but fortunately, he's finally fine now. Once he's ready to move, a few moments later, a strange thud hardly rammed in front of his door. The bumped sound was giving him goosebumps. For him, he thought that maybe it was Jeremy who came back. Bryle didn't hesitate to open the door for him. "Hey, punk. You dare on gettin---" He became speechless because the man who showed up in front of him gave him a deep kiss. It wasn't just a normal kiss because, for him, it's the kiss of something illegal. The tongue of this man went directly inside to his wet mouth and together, their lips glued to each other. The warmth they felt between their kisses was too hot and felt so good. It made him not push the man away. The exact warmth and the little amount of their slimy saliva were already enough to make the moment feels good. But for some reason, Bryle felt embarrassed and at the same time, it surprised him. After the erotic kiss, the man fell off on the floor unconsciously. It was at this time that Bryle, himself, discovered the bleeding wounds covered on this man's whole body. He wasn't just an ordinary human but this guy on the floor was the same guy from what he saw earlier on the street. He looked closely at the man and yes, he confirmed it for the second time. It was really this guy. The huge dog turned into a human. He knew he wasn't able to see clearly the face of this man earlier because of the light, bugging behind, but this time, now he's looking closely at him, he was certain it was this guy from earlier. He couldn't believe that his first kiss came from this man. Then again, the fear immediately went on his nerves, making him unable to move. The man lying on the floor was also shaking, but it wasn't because of fear, instead, it was because he was hurt. A lot of scars and wounds were covering his whole body. "H-Hey, hang on!" shouted Bryle, "Are you alright?" This man's clothes were all torn up so the huge size of his chest showed up. When Bryle took a glimpse at this man's wound on his biceps, he found out that having this kind of wound was too dangerous for him because the cut was too deep and the blood kept overflowing on the floor. "Hey! Answer me!" Bryle tried to wake him up but the man didn't answer him. "Please wake up!"
