Finding Love at Christmas

Christmas my favorite time of year. Going home with my boys is always fun. We love our road trips. So packing up the car bags and our crazy dog she has never been on a road trip before should be fun. We're going to be gone for 3 weeks boys have all their school work so they don't fall behind. I hope everything goes well first time home in 5 years. I left as soon as our divorce was final I never looked back and he never look for his sons. But now grandma wants to see the boys. I've got a big family and everyone is coming home all 30 of us. Yep it's going to be fun. So car is packed boys are strapped in our girl Max is already curled up and sleeping between the boys. Music is on and we hit the road. We have an 8 hour ride but that will be longer stops for potty breaks, food and just to let the boys and Max let go of some energy. Not even two hours in and we need a break yep it's going to be a long ride. Dad's called twice my youngest brother has been video chatting with the boys for the past hour but so far everyone is happy. We're going to get fast food and stop at a picnic area. Max can play we can eat and stretch our legs then make a pit stop and be on our way. The boys are taking a nap and all is quite. We're about an hour from home and my piece and quiet are gone. Did I say my family is crazy well let me tell you crazy is not the word for them So an hour from home truck horns are blowing police cars are flashing lights my beautiful sleeping boys are wide awake and screaming with excitement not to mention the dog is barking and going crazy. It was a perfect drive till my crazy family decided they couldn't wait to welcome us home. It's going to be a long loud 3 weeks buts it's so good to be home.
