It’s weird how life can go from being crazily hectic to plain old dull in just a flash. It’s as if the last week hasn’t happened, like the world is moving on and I’m the only one left struggling with how to stay afloat, wondering what the hell happened in the short time between the fire at the gym and now. It’s almost like getting a memo a few months later about something everybody else already knows. In fact, life has gone back to being so mundane, so normal that I think if a clown invited me into the woods right now, I would gladly just go.
