The Curse of Robinsons

Robert was born in a small town Wabash Valley and after he lost his mother in car accident his grandmother Mary took care of him. As a toddler he was able to see the unseen and these entities sometimes scared him or gave him company. Like during his mother's funeral he got confused when he saw his mother placed in coffin with her favorite laced white dress and right next to her coffin he saw his mother floating and crying or the time when he was sleeping and was woken up by a voice. He saw an old woman with glasses in a white dress floating near his window smiling and calling out his name 'Robert come to me'! he could see his room curtains through her. Robert hid under the blanket hoping she will go away and when he would sneak from his blanket he would see her coming closer each time. Robert ran to granny's room and lay down with her and hid under her blanket. He tried to wake his granny but she was deep asleep when he turned back he saw the old lady standing right behind her. Robert shrieked and hugged his granny tightly and shut his eyes till he was deep asleep.The old lady was never seen again. On his 6th birthday granny got him his favorite Batman action figure. One night granny had to leave town for official work and left him with a nanny. After nanny would put him to bed and leave he would see his Batman figure on his toy shelf come to life. With his Red beaming eyes he would talk to Robert and when he tried to climb down from shelf Robert would get scared and call for his nanny to which the Batman figure climbs back up and place his finger on his lips and say ' shhhh don't call her'. Gradually Robert would fall asleep and when he woke up in morning the first thing he did was to throw away the Batman toy into bin. When granny came back she asked Robert why he isn't playing with his Batman toy?. Robert said it gives me nightmares and batman wouldn't let me sleep so I threw him away. Granny sat down on her knees fixed her glasses and made Robert sit on her lap. ' Robert my child, you know there are some things which are unexplainable, unnatural and not everyone can experience except few people can are gifted'. ' You are too young to understand these things but you see this gift runs in our family skipping one generation'. With curiousity Robert asked if his mother was gifted too. 'No, but I have the same gift'. 'I know it can be difficult at times but I will teach you all about it and how not to let them bother you'. Robert nodded and gave his granny a tight hug. Granny pecked a kiss on his forehead and said ' I have something to keep you protected and it will help you create a barrier between you and their world' . she went to her dresser and pulled out a vintage wooden jewellery box. She unlocked the box and took out black threaded bracelet and tied it on Robert's wrist. 'This won't stop you from seeing them but it will create a boundary between you and them and reduce interaction. ' Robert looked into her granny's blue eyes with slight wrinkles on corner of her eyes when she smiled. It gave him comfort when she was nearby and was relieved that she believed him. Granny then went to her study table and got a leather black book tied with brown leather lace. 'This book has all the information of the entities and how to defeat them. you are too young right now but with time I will teach you everything just like my grandfather taught me.' she handed the book to Robert and he opened to see sketches of all demons and some words which he couldn't read yet and it didn't scare him maybe because he has gotten used to it or the fact he has to accept what fate has chosen for him. For next 15 years Robert was trained and taught about all kind of entities and how to recognize them like: 'Hayne'- which takes form of animal like dogs, wolves. 'Ghoul'- a shape shifting, cannabilastic , blood drinking demon with legs of donkey and horns of a goat. 'Jackles'- shape shifter and can give false illusions 'Marid'- they are powerful giants but can be controlled by black magic 'Ifrit'- powerful, cunning, winged creatures of fire and are completely ruthless and wicked. 'Split'- a Weaker kind monster half shaped creature. ' Palis'- it attacks their victims while they are asleep causing sleep paralysis but had low intelligence. 'Doppler'- smartest shape shifter and can mimic human appearance easily. 'Lucifer'- the greatest powerful devil of all with his offsprings spread around the world causing mischief. 'witches'- female demon who present themselves as beautiful woman and luring men and young boys to their death. Robert carried a silver knife with him everywhere as it burns the demon and condems them back to purgatory where they actually belong. He could sense them at places where clients call him to cleanse their house from evil spirits. The room would get cold and he could feel the electric energy so intense that all the hair on back of his neck and hand would stand up. As much as Robert could feel their presence the entities would make themselves more visible to him as they love attention. Some will be mischievous if they are offsprings of devil either way Robert could get rid of them. He had accompanied Grandma Mary to her client's house from teenage and now in his mid twenties Robert was polished enough to work on his own as granny was too weak.Robert was well known in his town not just because of his works but was also hot topic for the ladies as he was charming and has grown into handsome tall man with his blue eyes, dark hair with fine body built.
