Tiana was getting ready for her father's birthday, her lady-in-waiting and only friend kate was helping her get dressed. My princess,you look very beautiful. thank you Kate;Tiana said, but Kate could see it in her eyes that she wasn't happy. My princess are you alright, yes I'm, don't worry about me, you should also go get ready so you won't be late, you know how the queen gets angry when the workers are late. I think we are done here thanks. she said changing the topic. Kate understood immediately that she didn't want to talk about it so she curtsied and left. Tiana was left alone in her chambers, she could no longer hide the pain deep in her heart.she doesn't like to attend social gathering because of the way they look at her, so most times she just acts like she's invisible no matter what she does there will always be people looking at her with disgusting and judging eyes.like it her fault that her mother was a mistress or she is the illegitimate child of the king. But no matter what Tiana couldn't bring her self to hate her mother for being a mistress cause she knows she didn't really have a choice. she missed her so much even though she died when she was still very young. she concealed her feelings like she has always done and prepared to go for the birthday it wasn't like she had a choice. On her way out the queen's lady-in- waiting came to her chambers to deliver a message that the queen required her presence in her chamber. she couldn't help wondering what she has done wrong cause the queen just doesn't summon her unless to yell or remind her of what she knows already. Well it no like she has a choice, to go or not. My queen you sent for me, yes i did i just want to remind you not to go acting like your important and i don't want to see you through out the party cause you make me sick. i know you wouldn't want me sick, now would you? definitely not my queen.good i guess we on the same page she said sipping her tea in a proper lady like manner, yes we are my queen. now get out before i become sick, thank you my queen. Tiana let her chamber, she was already used to the queen's provocative words it not new to her anymore but each time she can't help her feelings. it so bad that even her stepbrother hates her for nothing, always looking for ways to humiliate or embarrass her. sometimes she wishes she is not from the royal family that she's just a commoner with her parents and probably siblings. she went back to her chamber to make sure her cheeks aren't flushed from nervousness then went to the hall early before the most of the guest arrived so all eyes won't be on her.
