Chapter Three

1006 Words
Prosper's pack returned to their regular routine after the threat posed by the renegade werewolf was eliminated. While they continued to hunt and defend one another, they also started to explore the forest together, finding new places and having new experiences. As time went on, Prosper started to feel hopeful about the future. He had developed a pack that he loved and respected, and he had finally discovered a means to get over Anita's rejection. Although he was aware that there would still be obstacles to overcome, he was prepared to do so with the support of his pack. Then, one day, while out in the field with Luna, he picked up the scent of another pack close by. He was first hesitant since he was aware that other packs might be hostile and possessive. But when they got closer to the other pack, he saw something peculiar about them. The fact that Isadora, a female alpha, was in charge of this pack made them unique. She was fiercely independent, strong, and self-assured. And as Prosper talked to her, he observed that they shared a lot of similarities. Both of them were alphas who had been dumped by their fiancé and had started their packs from nothing. Prosper noticed that there was a spark between them as they spoke. Since Anita, he had not felt a connection like he did with Isadora. And he couldn't help but feel eager for the future as they said goodbye. Prosper and Isadora kept in touch throughout the coming weeks, exchanging tales and adventures. Then Isadora invited him to join her pack one day. Prosper was initially apprehensive. He had started from scratch with his pack, and he didn't want to leave them. Isadora, though, gave him the reassurance that he could carry his pack along and that they could combine the two packs into one. That's what they did, then. The packs of Prosper and Isadora merged, with Prosper and Isadora acting as the alphas. Although there were arguments and power struggles, they overcame their differences to forge a pack that was more powerful than ever. It wasn't always simple. Prosper realized he had a new life purpose as he turned to face his group. He had created a pack that he cherished and respected, and in Isadora, he had discovered a new love. Although he was aware that there would still be obstacles to overcome, he was prepared to do so with the support of his pack. This represented a fresh start and an opportunity for him to move past the hurt of being rejected. He knew he was exactly where he was supposed to be as he howled at the moon with his pack. THE REVENGE Prosper had found stability and happiness with Isadora and his new pack, but he couldn't help but harbor a grudge against Anita for turning him down. Even though he had moved on, the pain and humiliation remained. He smelled Anita nearby one night as he was out hunting with Luna. He initially wanted to stay away from her, but he felt drawn to find her for some reason. So he carried out. When he finally located her, he discovered that she was with her new partner, a powerful and affluent billionaire. Prosper's blood began to boil at the sight of them together. He felt foolish for having ever loved her and allowed himself to be wounded by her rejection. He was finally over the brink when he noticed Anita and her partner were dressed in fur coats. real wolf fur coats. He received a gut-punch from the realization. They were making money off of the extinction of his kind. Prosper went at Anita's partner with his teeth and claws bared without thinking. Never before has his wrath overtaken him to such an extent. He didn't care about the repercussions, and he didn't care that he was breaching one of the most significant laws of werewolf society, which is to keep their existence hidden from humans. The battle was fierce and short. In addition to being faster and stronger than his opponent, Prosper had the advantage of surprise. He killed the man in a matter of minutes, leaving bloodstains on the snow. Despite Anita's screams and tears, Prosper scarcely noticed them. His wrath was still consuming him. He didn't come to his senses until after killing Anita's mate. He was hit hard by the awareness of what he had done. He had murdered a person. And not just any human, but a well-known, powerful one. He was aware that there might be repercussions. Luna followed Prosper as he escaped into the woods. He was aware that he had breached the law, but he was unable to care. He was only able to focus on his hatred for Anita and the injustice he had seen. He was aware that he couldn't return to his pack as he ran. They were in danger because of him, and he didn't want to bring them down with him. He continued to run through the forest and over the mountains till he was by himself in a small cabin hidden away in the forest. Although he had no idea what lay ahead, he was certain that he couldn't return to his previous life. He had to take responsibility for his actions because he had stepped over the boundary. He could only wish that one day, he might discover a way to put things right. Prosper struggled with his remorse and was plagued by his past for months while he lived alone in the woods. He was clueless as to what to do or where to go. Both physically and emotionally, he was lost. But as time went on, he started to think back on what he had done and the decisions he had made. He understood that his wrath and desire for retribution had overtaken him and affected his judgment. He was aware that what he had done was improper and that he needed to make amends.
