Alpha's Queen - Chapter Nine

~HIS SIDE~

The past weeks rogues have tried to come to our land, we have been fighting like hell to keep them out of our land as well as away from the city. After some time we were able to keep them away without losing anyone from our pack, as their alpha i’ve been going to fight everytime there’s someone crossing our borders.

 I think i’ve been a good alpha but i can see that they need a Luna, to give them some confort, and to me too… because of all that has been happening i have been tired ando n edge, scaredthere will na attack one day and i wont be able to help the pack warriors.

Since there  wasnt na attack for the last days i decided to spend time with my pack, we all agreed on a barbecue and beach afterward. Everyone was on the barbecue, the pups were happy and running around, my parents and i were talking and spending time with some elders from the pack. One of the pack elders even said if i cant find my mate, that i should just choose an unmated she-wolf and mate with her, but i stood my ground and as their alpha they couldnt really contradict me.

After a lot of talk and food we went to the beach, we loved this beah since no human came here and it was just for us… well, no human knew about the existence of this beach, no human except that girl that keeps going to the cliff besides it.

So we were enjoying the afternoon in the beach when some pack warriors mind-linked me “alpha, the human is going there, and she brought a few girls with her, they are talking about going to our beach!”

“how many?”

“there’s 4 girls”

“let them be, they are just humans, and besides they dont seem like a threat, if need comes we will just scare them so they wont come back again”

“sure alpha”

“theres a few humans coming here, be careful!” i mind-linked everyone on my pack

Sudenly laughs and music could be heard, as well as people running and all of a sudden i cound smell something amazing, my wolf started to get excited and saying  ‘mate mate mate mate’, my eyes went wide as i saw a girl stop as soon as she got out of the woods, and without thinking i said out loud “mate!”, i knew everyone had heard me because of our wolf hearing, damn it! Next thing i knew everyone was looking to the woods and my mom was mind-linking me “oh son, my future daughter-in-law is so perfect, you were so blessed dear!”

The girl stopped and all the others went against her, she was eyeing the beach and i heard her say “oh, this usually is empty”

“we dont care, its a beach, besides, theres not many people, how did you even find this place?” one of the girls asked

“oh…well…one day i was running and came across this place” was her answer, her voice sounded like a nice sweet melody i could keep hearing all day long

“what have you even been doing inside the woods, running none the less?!” another girl asked

My mate went quiet, she was in deep thoughts. One of the girls took her out of her own mind and she said “everyone is looking at us…”

My beautiful mate answered “well, i can guess that some of them is beacause they went to highschool with me…i recognice a few”

“oh, so you know them?” they asked

“nope, i mean, more or less, never spoke to any of them, but i do know them, they were the most popular kids in school” was her answer
