Alpha's Queen - Chapter Nineteen

~HER SIDE~

After i received a message from Ashley saying the boys were busy but they were all okay and home i was able to relax and went to sleep.

I woke up next morning feeling sad by the fact i had o go to work and it would bem y last day there, couldnt stand the feeling of getting away from my friends, but still i got up, got ready and after breakfast. When i was all ready i made sure i had the presents for all of them and went to the restaurant.

“hey guys!” i smiled at everyone in the restaurant

“hey! Whats with the bags you are carrying?” one of my co-workers asked

“i will tell you later! Is Xavier there? I would like to talk to him before i went in”

“yeah, i will call him!”

After a few second Xavier came back with a smile “so, want to talk? Whats wrong?”

“ah yes, nothing ‘s wrong, just wanted to ask if before i start my shift i could be in the back and if you could all go there, i would like to talk with everyone” i said nervous

“we dont have many costumers right now so i dont see why not! Go to the back and we will go meet you there!”

“thank you” i answered

After 5 minutes i was on the break room on the back of the restaurant and the team came in

“well, i asked you all here because i wanted to talk to you all!” i took a deep breath “today will be my last day here!” i stop and look at their faces, they were all in shock and some were trying to find something to say but couldnt “but despite the fact i wont be coming anymore i would like you to know i loved all the second we spent inside these walls, we are a great team and we can achieve amazing things when we work together! Sure we fight, who doesnt?! But its exactly because we fight that we work so great with each other, i consider all of you as family, i big small family that i love, i love each and everyone of you for who you are and i dont want you to change, never!” by the end of my speech i had tears running down my face and my hands were shaking. After i took a deep beath again i got down and said “each bag has a name, and a present for each one of you!”

“thank you! You didnt have to” someone said

“we will miss working with you!” someone else said

“hey, keep on working outside of work please, we are still friends, no matter if i work here or not!” i said with a smile trying to light up the mood in the room

“yeah, we will” some of them said

The day went by normal after that, they all thanked me for the presents once they were able to open the bags and i could tell that i chose right, everything was able to fit their owner’s personality. At the end of work i went back home, once i got there i received a message on my phone from Ashley “hey, how are you? I dont know if you are busy but maybe we could hang out sometime!” i answered right away “sure, anytime, just let me know when you can, oh and make sure to bring friends!” and a few minutes i saw John come to the house to work with me on country’s business and a few papers. I focused on that, i left my phone on my room and went to the kitchen to work with John. “i did what you asked me to!” i said quietly
