Everything I did not know about you

Alexandria looked around her at her new apartment. The move to Derwent went well. she never thought she would leave the small town where she grew up. Her sister Mia and her father Robert both were excited but sad about this move. Living in the small town of Gaith was a slow death, were everyone knew everyone. Today she had to unpack and maybe go and do some exploring before going to the airport to pick up her sister. Who was going to staying with her for the next few months. Alexandria spent the next few minutes staring out the windows before getting some comfortable clothes and deciding that a quick shower was what was needed. I really can not believe I am actually here, Alexandria thought to herself. Now all I need is a good job and some friends. On her way to the door she suddenly stopped and looked at how all the boxes were all over the place. Maybe I will quickly run to get coffee and then come back and do some unpack. Walking out of her door, pulling out her phone she googled closest coffee shop and saw there was one ten minutes away called Cup 'o Delicious. The morning air felt freeing for the first time in months, no rush to pack and no saying good bye to people who would only be seen once in a while. She finally made it to the café and fell in love with the little Italian style. she walked in and immediately the smell of fresh coffee and hot bread just out of the oven made her fall in love even more. Shaking her head she decided that she needed to order to go but would drag Mia here another day. Stepping up to the counter to read the menu she decided on a caramel latte with extra cream on top. Once she ordered and went to go sit and wait for her order, a young women approached her and introduced herself as Cassy. Cassy asked if she was new as she has never seen her before. Cassy asked for her number as she was in a bit of a rush promised to message her to meet up and show her around. Alexandria fetched her order and started the walk back thinking about where to start unpacking when suddenly in the back ground she heard the grumble of thunder. making a quick run of it back her apartment before it could start raining. Once in the apartment she locked her door and decided to start in the kitchen. Two hours passed before she was done in the kitchen and then decided to unpack the guest room for her sister. Making the bed and unpacking the knick nacks. Her phone buzzed from a unknown number. Hey Alexandria, it is Cassy and this is my number, talk soon. Alexandria still had an hour before having to pick up her sister decided that it was time for a break, thinking about what her and Mia were going to have for dinner when she decided to look up restaurants in the area. Thirty minutes later, Alexandria was in the car on the way to the airport. When she arrived, Mia had sent her a message saying that she was waiting by the door. Once Mia was in the car, Alexandria told her that they were stopping for coffee before heading back to get ready to go out for supper. They got home and decided to unpack Mia's stuff and sort out the lounge before going to shower and get dressed for an evening at a small restaurant nearby called The Silver Lounge. while there Mia was telling Alexandria about all the gossip she missed while she had been moving and how her one friend had gotten engaged to one of Mia's ex boyfriends. Alexandria told Mia of all the stuff she had already seen and experienced while being in the city. Alexandria also asked how Mia was feeling about the engagement which Mia responded by saying that she really could not care less as they have been over for years now. Alexandria ordered a platter to be shared with two bottom-less cokes, knowing that they would be there awhile when her phone buzzed with a message from Cassy asking when Alexandria and Mia would be available. Seeing this Mia said maybe in two days time hopefully by then everything would be unpacked and there would be food and drinks in the house. Cassy quickly responded with that would be perfect. the rest of the evening was spent talking and laughing before they decided it was time to go home and get ready for bed. Alexandria found herself not being able to sleep with worry about how her dad was doing all by himself with both her and Mia being in the city. She decided to phone him the next morning after breakfast. Alexandria was also looking at possible job offers since she had to leave her last job to move. She saw an advertisement for an administration role at Braxton Incorporated. She was very good at Admin and hoped that she could get the job. When she fell asleep, she felt lighter than she had ever felt. The next morning Alexandria woke up feeling refreshed even with the going to bed late. She left Mia a note saying she will be back. On the way back from the café with coffee and breakfast, she realized that this was actually real and that this was the start to something new and big. When she got back Mia was awake and making grabby hands for the coffee and food. Alexandria found this amusing and kept the coffee out of reach for a few moments before handing it to Mia. After breakfast they phoned their dad claimed was fine and who could not wait to come and visit before he declared he had to go. They walked through the apartment and realized that everything was already unpacked and all that was needed was for them to buy food. Once at the supermarket Mia noticed that everyone was staring at Alexandria. Mia joked that Alex should be careful or she would be put on a missing person's poster. Alexandria laughed and responded with an no one would want to kidnap me and went on to buy all the needed food and spices while debating on which coffee blend to by when Mia went silent. An older women had started walking towards them to ask which coffee they would recommend as her assistant had quit and she has never had to buy coffee before. Alexandria had asked what was the lady's preference and that narrowed the choices down to just three. The lady who introduced herself as Denise decided that Alexandria needed to apply to be her assistant. Giving Alexandria her email with an added email me your C.V. Alexandria couldn't believe her luck. Mia smiled and said see everything is going to work out. Getting everything hone and unpacked took awhile because Mia kept suggesting places to pack all the food before Alexandria declared that everything was staying where it was and that she needed a coffee with extra cream. Alexandria decided to drag Mia to the café where they spent the better half of the afternoon talking about future plans. When they got home, Alexandria took out her laptop and sent her email with her C.V to Denise. Once that was done she got up to go shower before looking for Mia to decide if they were going out or not when Cassy sent them an invite to go to a club with her. Mia looked excited and decided they had to experience the night life. Alexandria only agreed so that she could get to get to know Cassy.
