Chapter Thirteen My screams bounced off the concrete walls of the stairwell. I kept trying to break free from the vampire, scratching at Freddy’s back hard enough for his blood to start oozing through his shirt. But the harder I fought, the more he laughed. “Where the hell are you taking me?” I rammed my elbow up, catching him in the back of the head. “Not worth saving Mommy now?” He kicked the door at the top of the steps open.
