CHAPTER SIX THE BOYS ARRIVE AT SCHOOL Waking up on Monday morning for school, I quickly showered, putting on my favorite jeans and pink sweater I bought last week at the mall with Mary and Tina, my best friends since first grade. Finally, I put on the new necklace Steve's sons gifted me last night. He said it was a gift from his sons, a sort of welcome into our group kind of thing he said. It is a beautiful necklace, I thought. It consisted of diamonds and amethyst in the shape of a heart, on a rose gold chain. I honestly wasn't planning on wearing it today, but it weirdly called me to wear it. Putting on my sandals, I trotted downstairs, grabbed my backpack, and met mom in the car. As soon as I entered the car, mom noticed the necklace and exclaimed "That is such a gorgeous necklace, apparently good taste runs in that family". She stated. Driving the short twenty minutes to school, hopping out of the car, I quickly run to the first period before the bell rang. At lunch, I found my seat at the table with Mary and Tina. As I approached, Tina caught sight of the necklace and said "Oh my, how beautiful, where did you get it?" she asked. "It was a gift, from my mom's boyfriend's sons" I tell them. "Have you met them yet," they ask. "No, not yet," I told her. Wondering myself when I will meet them. Changing the subject, Tina, who has her first period in the office, asks," Did you guys see the new boys who started today? Two sets of triplets!!!! And they are HOT!!!!! Look there they are." She squeals, looking towards the door. I turned to look in that direction, stopping dead in my tracks. Walking in my direction, are six of the sexiest boys I have ever seen. It's them, the triplets, and the fraternal twins, from the mall. My heart is quite literally pounding in my chest, as I see them stare in my direction. Glancing down at my necklace as they walk by, I see them smile and wink at me. Could that have been directed at me? They are, in fact, triplets. I noticed, surprisingly, three are identical and the other three fraternal twins. Tina noticed the smile, and winked, stated, "Was that at you? Do you know them, and haven't told us," she asks? "No, I swear, I have no idea who they are. I think that was directed at someone behind me," I said. The rest of the day went by uneventfully. Arriving home, I find mom in the kitchen making dinner. Kissing her on the cheek, I ran to my room, and began my homework. However, I'm finding myself not able to focus, I for some reason, have six sets of eyes on my mind, Oh Boy. Falling asleep that night, I began to have dreams about those same six sets of eyes winking, six mouths grinning, and six pairs of hands. The next morning I woke up agitated and restless. Barking at anyone crossing my path. As I got to my locker that morning, I found six single lilies inserted in the top vents of the locker. A huge smile forms on my face. I wonder who put these in my locker. I see different variants of the boys throughout the day. They do notice me, but they don't approach me. Weirdly, I begin to sense being watched over the next few weeks, and every so often I'll find a Lilly in my locker. No note or anything to say who it's from, just a lily or six lilies, strange. I ponder to myself. Standing by my locker with the girls, I approached the subject about the weird feeling of being watched lately. I also mention the flowers being left in my locker, and just want to know who is leaving them. "You have a secret admirer, Alex, that's awesome," Tina says, "I wish I had one". She sighs jokingly but is still a little on the pathetic side. I can't help but laugh at her dramatics when Mary joins in on the laughter. You see, as much as they play with each other, they also have s*x with men too. "It would be awesome if they would let themselves be known, and maybe not be so much of a secret admirer. I'd much rather have one out in the open." I said kind of loudly, before seeing two of the triplets, not two feet away, staring directly at me. The laughter on my face dies at the intense look I'm getting from them, and it turns my insides to jello. Closing the locker, we began to walk down the hall to our next class. Tina, who also noticed how the brothers seem to always be lurking not far from me, asks, "What's with them always lurking? "I don't know, none of them ever talk to me. I know they CAN talk. I've heard them speak to others, but they don't talk to me. They only ever stare." Separating after making plans to have our weekend sleepover as usual. After getting home from school that afternoon, I do my chores and complete my homework before putting everything away. That night, I was helping mom make dinner for the two of us. We were just chattering away about town gossip she was aware of, and she was, of course, telling me about her day, but then she asked about mine. I said to tell mom about the new kids that arrived a while ago. "We got a bunch of new brothers at school, two sets of triplets," I said. That seemed to pique her interest. "That's interesting honey, have you met them?" she asked. "No, they're older than me, they're also kind of strange. They always seem to be around somewhere, and they're usually staring at me, but they never speak to me. They have all eyes on them though, they walk together like they are a force to be reckoned with. They are just weird." I told her. Continuing to chop the vegetable, mom states, "I'm sure they are perfectly normal boys, maybe they're just interested in getting to know you." Looking at her, wondering what happened to my mother's logic, "One would need to speak to someone to get to know them. That seems to be the best way these days to accomplish the act of getting to know someone. Just saying, mom." A beep on my phone notifying me of a text from Mary. There's a party this weekend, and she wants to go. Sending back a reply indicating I was down, I began to wonder what I want to wear. The next day at school, it becomes clear that the party in question is being hosted by the triplets. These guys have become popular, practically kings of the school overnight. All the girls are after them, wanting the chance to be the girlfriend of one of them. The boys want to be them. If they can't be them, they want to be friends with them. They've been here about six months, and they watch me every day, tracking my movements. I feel their eyes on me, wishing they'd talk to me. Friday night is the day of the party. Walking to my locker, there was a note sticking out. Walking up and grabbing the note, looking around to see who might've left it. Mike, best friend, and partner in crime is all I see. He winks at me as I open up the paper. Hello Beautiful, Your presence is requested tonight. Please don't disappoint us. What the hell, I thought to myself. In gym class, Tina approaches me, telling her about the note requesting my presence. Pondering what I said, as well as the previous clues, "Do you think they’re responsible for the gifts in your locker and the strange feeling of being watched?" "I think," I began, then stopping to look around, "I think it's possible their buddy, Mike, was lurking around when I found it." I went to Mary and Tina's after school. I stupidly agreed to allow them to dress me head to foot, including hair and makeup. Now, I'm sitting in the back seat of their car, with a dress that needs a lot more fabric. If I bend down wrong, I'm going to be putting on a show. It was already dark outside when we arrived, going outback, as the house itself, except the basement, was completely off limits. Turning the corner, I was brought up short by the sight before me. They have a huge backyard, complete with a huge pool, and grotto. There also appears to be a lazy river. Jesus, no wonder people worship them. Following the sound of music, and the crowd of kids in the pool area. Once there, looking around, I notice a few of the boys, not sure which ones, under the tiki bar, at the end of the pool. Then I spotted another in the hot tub. They were watching me, like a lion stalking its prey. Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw Mary head towards the house, where we had access to the basement. Once inside, I spot two of the fraternal with a group of other kids. They appeared to be playing a drinking game of some sort. This game was sort of like spinning the bottle and seven minutes in heaven combined. The difference was the person spinning the bottle had to be blindfolded. Then you take a shot, you are led to the room, and for seven minutes you do what you want but the blindfold stays on the entire time. If you take it off, you have to do something someone tells you to do. You never know what that something is. Out of the corner of my eye, one of the fraternal comes up behind me. I didn't move a muscle because I simply rooted to the spot. I glanced back at my friend, blushing, as I wrapped my hands around her waist and pulled her back into my chest. My hips are doing their dance against her ass, making her blush even more. I leaned into her neck and yelled over the music. “Want to play the game with me tonight, sweetheart?” "I don't know you, none of you talk to me," I say, hurt that he's been ignoring me. "Why would I play a game with you?" He dips his head down towards the pulse at my neck. Not quite touching, but close enough that I felt his breath on my neck, "Because, If anyone else touches you, princess. It would be a mistake." Shocked, turning around to face him directly, "What I do, isn't any of your business. I don't even know you, any of you." Pushing him aside, and looking around to find my friends, I needed to tell them I was leaving with or without them. I'd call an UBER if I had to, but I was out of there. Spotting the girls, coincidence, they're under the tiki hut with them. Walking up to them, I state, "I need to go, I'm not feeling well. I can call an uber if you want to stay. They show everyone around why I love them so much, why they are the best. They both looked at me, like I had grown two heads, and said as they stood to gather their belongings. "Since when have we ever stayed, and just trusted you made it home OK? If you go, we go, unless it was prearranged, in which case, we always make sure someone we trust has you." I didn't look or say anything to the brothers lurking around, but I notice they only had eyes on me as we left. ***
