Niamh's POV
"Kellie? I'm heading out for the pizza I ordered. You want anything?" I called out as I moved to grab my wallet and cell phone. I really couldn't afford to arrive at the pizza parlor without having the money to pay... even if the guy who owned the place had a huge crush on me and would jump through hoops just to get a taste of what I had to offer. Although he didn't appeal to me, the thought of free food did appeal to me. But... I hadn't been that desperate in over five years and there was no way in hell that I was about to let myself do that again.
"Nah girl. I've got my sub from last night. I'll just finish that." came the reply from the back and I merely nodded even though I knew she wouldn't be able to see it.
"Kay. I'll be back shortly." was my only reply before I walked out of the place.
As I walked to the pizza parlor I let my eyes roam around. I spotted the Chinese restaurant where they made the best Shrimp Egg Rolls I had ever had the pleasure of eating. Next to the Chinese restaurant was the movie rental store and then, further down the street, was the small gas station where they didn't sell anything other then gas. Connected to that was the auto shop but the mechanic there was a eighty seven year old male who was so set in his ways that most people opted for the newer auto shop on the other side of town.
I walked passed each of those things and made a left onto Bower street where Mama Rosetta's pizzeria resided and had done so for the last fifty years now. With each step that I took, making me get closer to the pizzeria the smells of cooking pizza, cookies, and brownies meant my nose, making my mouth water in excitement at eating.
Upon stepping inside, however, I stopped and blinked slowly because, behind the counter, was the owner Rosetta, a fifty one year old female who had inherited the pizza shop from her father when he had passed away six years ago. Rosetta was, normally, a graying black haired one hundred percent Italian woman who stood at a good six foot three inch tall height. Normally she looked human but, today, she had pale see through black wings that made me think of a fairy from a photo book I had seen when I was younger. From her forehead she had long butterfly like antennae.
Slowly I stepped up the counter and I said, "Hey Rosetta. I'm here to pick up my order for the meat lovers pizza and the giant cookie." I was trying not to focus on the fact that she had wings and antennae because I didn't want to be rude. "Of course sweetie." replied the woman before she turned and went to get my order. Almost immediately my eyes zeroed in on the fact that Rosetta had a tail. It was a pale black that seemed to match her wings. It was upon seeing that that I suddenly noticed little things throughout the pizzeria.
Like the fact that there was a f*****g dragon, albeit a small one, inside the oven that cooked the pizza. I couldn't look away from the dragon because of how adorable it was. Dark red scales, pink eyes and his wings were small. The dragon seemed to be the size of a newborn kitten, but I was sure the thing could cause some mayhem if given the chance.
When Rosetta came back and gave me my order, I grabbed a couple of cans of my favorite monster energy drink and then proceeded to hand the correct amount of money to the woman. Once my transaction was finished I said, "Thank you Rosetta." and then I gathered up my order before I turned and left. If I stayed any longer I was sure that I would begin asking questions.
"Her name is Iallea." Rosetta called out to me before I exited the pizzeria fully. "Who the hell is Iallea?" I asked myself softly as I walked back to the tattoo parlor. Upon getting back there I spotted the car that Caine and Abel had left in and I wondered what was wrong. A second later I stepped inside and stopped upon seeing the two men. "Hello again... is everyone alright?" I immediately asked, hoping like freaking hell that nothing bad had happened in the span of the last few moments.
"Hello again." spoke Abel, flashing me a little bit of a smile.
Caine merely grunted at me.
I merely let my eyes move back and forth between the two men before I shrugged and went to sit down behind the counter so I could dig into my food. Upon taking that first bite I wound up moaning like a b***h in heat, Rosetta always seemed to make the best damn food ever. I'd happily go to hell for it if I could, but I also wouldn't commit a crime just to get a reservation in hell.
Abel moved over and he looked at my pizza before he said, "I take it that you love pizza?" to which I nod due to my mouth being full of food. Once I swallowed I cleared my throat and I said, "Yes sir. Now, is something wrong with your tattoo or his piercing?" I didn't want to have to stop eating and let my pizza go cold, but I would for the sake of helping out.
"Oh no. We... know that you do not know us all that well but we were wondering if you'd like to come to our house to meet our brother. He'd of come with but he can't really leave the house for a while..." Abel said quietly. I could see how hopeful he was at getting me to say yes and I vaguely wondered if the reason that he wanted me to go with was for a specific reason. I didn't voice that but solely for the fact that I was debating on if I should of not.
I spotted Caine out of the corner of my eye watching me closely but, then, I went back to ignoring the hell out that as I mulled over the question. I had been told, when I was younger and my mother hadn't been a drug addicted w***e, not to go anywhere with strangers... however I didn't get a bad vibe from either of these men so I figured why the hell not.
Finally I finished my first slice of pizza and, as I wiped my mouth, I said "Sure. I clock out in an hour and after that I'm free. Is that alright with you?" Abel nodded before he said, "Is it alright if we stay here and hang out then?" I, again, nodded before I said "I don't mind." After that I kept eating and when I was done I cleaned up and hid my brownie so I could eat it on my next shift, which was tomorrow.
After that I moved to clean up my area before I went and started preparing to clock out. Afterwards I went to Kellie and I said, "I'm heading out. I'll give you a call when I get home." Kellie looked up at me and she nodded before she said, "Alright. Have fun." and she winked at me. It was then, and only then, I noticed that her eyes went from one color to a shocking silver but I didn't voice what I had seen. I was beginning to think that I was going insane and, as I thought that, I heard a slight growl coming from where Kellie was. I looked at her and said, "I'll try. Bye!" and then I exited the room as quickly as my fat ass could.
"So where, exactly, are we going?" I questioned the brothers as soon as we stepped out of the parlor. I was following behind the two of them towards their car, and even though I was nervous to do so I figured that I could ask questions instead of going without some vital information.
Caine merely looked at me over his shoulder before he opened the door for me. I slid in and immediately buckled up, though I was praying like Hell that one of them would answer me. I felt like I had a right to know where they lived, just so I had an address to give the cab driver should I need to bail at some point. "Do you know the Thompson house?" asked Abel which had my eyes going wide as he mentioned that place, however I merely nodded because I did, in fact, know of it.
"We live there." Abel confirmed. "Caine and I moved in there with our family and happened to fix it up quite nicely." He then explained. Of course... on the inside I was freaking the hell out merely for the fact that the rumors about the place that these two men and their family called home were quite horrible. But I kept my mouth shut because I figured that, all in all, they already knew about them.
Once we arrived at the place they called home, however, I was flabbergasted to see that the outside appearance of the place looked so much better then some of the pictures I had seen of it beforehand. I shook my head before I climbed out of the car and followed Caine and Abel into the house. It was there that I got first glance and it was a glance I simply could not resist. The inside of the place was so much more comfier feeling then I had thought it would give me. But I am glad it did because my eyes found those of a woman and man, watching me from the living room with surprised looks upon their face. They did not introduce themselves, merely stared at me like it was, either, feeding time at the zoo or like I had something upon my face.
"Follow us." murmured Abel to me before he moved in front of me and begun the walk upstairs. I did as he had requested and followed him, Caine stepping behind me and following me up. It was almost like the two of them were taking a protective stance. Almost as if they were intending on keeping me safe well I was there and that only made me feel so much better about having agreed to coming with them.
It was there, in that house, I meant my beginning and... my end.
He was gorgeous to say the least. Easily a man I would be willing to let bend me over and drill me for as long as he wanted. He had gorgeous hair and his eyes matched mine, like the others did, but that wasn't why I was so enthralled with him. This man gave off the impression that he didn't give a f**k what people thought of him and that he knew how to handle his business. For that I was instantly attracted. Of course, I would never do something to get his attention solely on me due to the fact that I was scared to try.
"Hello." he spoke, and his voice was like honey. Smooth, Sweet, and just to much for me to handle but I didn't react only because I knew better. "Hi." I replied, almost shyly.
He stood up and slowly advanced towards me. "My name is Draven." he spoke softly, slowly holding his hand out to me. I bit my bottom lip in surprise before I grasped his hand with mine and I said, "Hello Draven. My name is Niamh." The moment our hands touched I wound up experiencing the shock of a lifetime. Quite literally, the shock ran up from my finger tips to where my rapidly beating heart resided inside my chest. Upon feeling that I quickly yanked my hand away and chuckled nervously. "Abel said you wished to meet me?" I asked him, hoping to ignore what had just happened.
Draven nodded before he said, "Yes. They told me about how your eyes are like ours... You must have the rare blood type of AB negative?" To which I shook my head no before I said, "O Positive..." Draven hummed lightly before he said, "Odd..." Before he said, "You can leave now." before he turned and went back to his desk. It was then he begun to ignore me and it was then I felt thoroughly slapped in the face.
"Asshole." I muttered before I turned and looked to Abel and Caine. "Take me home." I demanded before I stormed off down the stairs and back outside. If Draven could be rude to me, then I could damn sure be rude to him. I noticed that the twins had rushed after me and, once we were in the car again, Abel said "Sorry about him... he can be rude sometimes." I snorted before I said, "That wasn't being rude. That was being full blown douche bag for no reason." After that silence happened and they took me home.
"Tell your brother that if he summons me again that he can shove his summons straight up his ass." I told the two men once we got to my place. I climbed out and stormed outside because I was royally pissed because of what had happened. Although, when getting ready for bed that night, my mind started drifting to Draven and I sighed because he really had been attractive before he'd pulled out the asshole card.
I finally settled down in bed and when I drifted asleep my dreams were filled with men with cyan eyes and a voice like honey.
I didn't know what was happening, but I was definitely in for a ride. I was mildly afraid to see what happened in the morning.
