Chapter 10The village of Eden liked to play with its namesake and as such, the founders and other residents of yesteryear had fun with the naming of streets and other places that helped define its idyllic sense of place. The Adam’s River and Eve Avenue were the obvious ones but other such nods came from the local dive bar, known as the Snake Pit, and the long-established hair salon, Golden Tresses. There was even an office that helped with employment opportunities—the so-called Job’s Opportunities. One additional mainstay in Eden was the location where all the locals could eventually be found—the Apple Diner.
