21 Tennant Creek Police Station was situated mid-town, on the main street, and it was under siege. Media representatives from all branches of the media, from all corners of the country, and a few from international agencies, descended upon the police station demanding answers. In the absence of answers, they demanded at the very least, an official briefing as to the progress of the investigation.
