Leila pats him on the back: "I haven't told anyone, I have no idea how Dad found out. But I admire you guys a lot and wanted to show that I can do it. All by myself. If there had been a link to you, I wouldn't have been able to work so under the radar.“ Cole thinks about it, then agrees. ”But now you're working with us?“ Leila nods: ”We have the project with the cell phones." Cole nods, “I'll take you to work with me tomorrow and then we'll draw up the contract.” Leila nods, “Sounds like a plan. Say, will you accompany me to the trade fair?” Cole nods. Leila continues, “Could you pretend that I work for you?” Cole nods again. “Why?” Leila smiles, “I haven't had my revenge yet.” Nicholas He leaves the building with Peter, who asks, “Why do you want to meet with this CEO?” Nicholas blinks, "I received the trade show documents today and noticed that this company has rented a huge area. No one can see this area. It has the best security measures in place. Even my security guy hasn't seen anything like it. So something big is going to happen there, and it would be good to be a part of it. You need to see if you can find someone who will talk.“ Peter thinks, ”Something big?" But every time Nicholas has had a feeling like this, it has been confirmed by events. Peter nods, then suddenly stops and nudges Nicholas: “Look, is that Mr. Grand's limousine?” Nicholas pauses: “Does he know the CEO?” Peter asks, “Should we wait?” Nicholas shakes his head, “Better not, we have other things to do. But you could make an appointment with Mr. Grand for tomorrow.” They drive back to the company and work intently for the next few hours until Nicholas asks, “Did you find out anything more about Leila Smith?” Peter shakes his head: “Nothing, and that's more than suspicious. She was at the gala, and that dress alone must have cost a fortune. Do you think she's having an affair with Mr. Grand?” Nicholas's expression turns cold and grim. He rubs his chest because his heart feels heavy. Then there is a knock and the secretary comes in: “Mr. Anderson, Mr. Anderson would like to speak to you.” Nicholas nods and shortly afterwards Shawn enters the office. He is holding a newspaper in his hand and explains excitedly: "She's back, she was at the gala. Why don't you ask her to come in for a chat? Let her come over and we'll have some coffee.“ Nicholas sighs, ”She's not really on good terms with me or our family, and at the gala, Nicole called her trash.“ Shawn's eyes flash, ”We can't let that stand. We have to invite her. If not to our house, then to our restaurant.“ Nicholas considers, ”Maybe if we invite Mr. Grand too." The mere thought makes him sick, but if he can see her again and she likes his grandfather... He nods and then adds, “Maybe if you invite them both?” Shawn nods, “That's probably better.” Then he changes the subject: "What about the trade show next week? I have a feeling something special is going to happen.“ Nicholas nods. ”You're not the only one. It must have something to do with that unknown company. We were there today, and every time we tried to make an appointment, we were turned away... After the trade fair... After the trade fair.“ Shawn says, ”Sounds like I should come to the trade fair with you this time." Nicholas smiles. “Oh, we have an appointment tomorrow morning with Mr. Grand because we saw his car in front of the unknown company.” Shawn nods again, “Then I'll come with you tomorrow morning.” Nicholas nods and his grandfather leaves. The next morning, they all meet at Nicholas' office and then drive over to their 10 a.m. appointment. They check in at reception and are led to the waiting area on the top floor. They quickly get something to drink and chat quietly when they hear a door open. Leila comes out, shakes Cole's hand and says, “It's a pleasure doing business with you.” Stan comes out with her, puts some papers in a bag and bows his head briefly. Cole: “Leila, I'll walk you to the elevator.” She smiles and disappears with Stan. Cole turns around and walks over to the maintenance corner. “Good morning, Mr. Anderson, Mr. Anderson, and Mr. Crowl. Would you please follow me?” The three men follow him into his office, take a seat in comfortable chairs, and shortly thereafter, the door opens and someone brings in refreshments. Cole waits until they are alone again, leans back and asks, “What's this about?” Shawn leans forward and explains, "I was more than uncomfortable hearing how my granddaughter behaved towards you and Leila. Please allow me to invite you both to dinner. After what I heard when I was discharged from the hospital, I am not only deeply grateful to Leila, but I would also like to take this opportunity to apologize to her. And I don't think she would visit us at our estate." Cole looks at the old man. Leila told him that he was the only person in the entire family who had been nice to her. “Leila has only good memories of you. You have nothing to apologize for.” The old man raises his hand, “If I hadn't been incapacitated by my illness, I would have noticed something.” Cole smiles and nods, “Leila will certainly be delighted to meet a kind person.” Shawn beams at Cole: “Wonderful.” Then he leans back and Nicholas speaks up: "Mr. Grand, yesterday I was at the Future company and I tried to get an appointment with the CEO there. In person, because every time I tried on the phone, I was turned away. No one seems to know the CEO. Now I noticed your car outside the company and I'd like to know if you know the CEO.“ Cole leans back, ”Yes, I know the CEO very well. However, I only recently learned how amazing his work is. Groundbreaking, I would say. And I'm eagerly awaiting the trade show, even though I already saw what the person in question is working on yesterday. In fact, I would say that person is a genius.“
