A single moment decision can change everything, a single choice. I just never expected Draven, of all people, to do what he did. He shielded me and my unborn child. He protected us. I had my back to Cuthbert’s body. I didn’t know Einar’s soul was coming for me. I didn’t know that he would go straight for me. Draven saved my life, my unborn child’s life. In my book, he deserves a pardon for the crimes he committed. He sacrificed himself, so I could live to put a stop to Einar once and for all.
Damien and Birsha pulled me back from Draven, as he tossed and turned on the floor. His eyes were closed. His face scrunched up like he was in pain. I could only imagine the agony he was in. Einar had to be trying to weaken him, make it easier for him to take over his body.
