While Lilah and I kept hidden in the shadows, I pulled her in front of me, pulling her flush against me. I wanted to hold her in my arms, breath in her scent. It was settling my wolf. A few demons appeared looking around, two were male and one was female. I recognised one from the time I delivered the letter, the same one I assumed was the general.
Lilah whispered, “That is General Abigor. He is probably looking for us to bring us to the Queen.”
I nodded, “Alright, but remember what I said, please do not let go of my hand.”
“I won’t, I promise,” she smiled at me.
