Scarlett’s POV-
It is interesting to see Draven like this. In the images of the last moments of those we have lost, he seemed very confident and extremely skilled. He almost seemed cold then. But now, he seems calm, almost unsure. It was clear he knew very little of this world. He was trying so hard to hide his surprise and the wonder in his eyes as he gazed around at the gateway. It was also intriguing to see how he interacted with Lilah, and how she interacted with him.
I was going to continue to study them both, as the questioning continues, before we present them with the deal that I want to set out to them. I was glad they were finally eating, despite Draven original reluctance. Draven was staring at me, he tipped his head to the side, “Your mother Sable, is she alive?”
