He leaned closer to her belly, pressing his ear to her belly. Lilah whispered, “Am I really?”
Draven moved back a little, so he could look up and meet her gaze. He nodded, “I can hear the heartbeat. Are you ready for this? You need to eat. We should take you to get an ultrasound.” He was rambling on.
“You can’t get an ultrasound,” I said.
